...there are so many hospitals in Philly and many do long term cancer treatments. When my niece had chrone's disease there were many kids whose family couldn't be with them all the time. I saw how lonely and scary it was for them, esp over the holidays. Families being pulled in so many directions--I have to stop by or call HR- I may need to be vetted. Which is fine. I have ten nieces and nephews so am very skilled as an aunt! And i love the elderly. You learn so much. My pen pal is 99! she writes me beautiful letter sin perfect cursive. I have to type mine to her!!

I have made a decision to stay quiet in Center City over the holidays instead of making the trek to New England- am thinking I would like to do some volunteer work...perhaps visit kids and the elderly in the hospitals? Does anyone have any ideas/info on making that happen?
