With all the recent posts on discounts and special deals, perhaps we will see "PRICE WARS"....like long ago when the gas stations kept lowering their prices to get business. The product was the same but only the prices were reduced. Of course, my knowledge of gas price wars is only from what I read in history books!!!!

Summer is the worst time of year in sd for any type of adult entertainment...(if of course you are a provider) you name it and I have done it and summer always sucks. Once fall gets going business picks up and the business travelers come more frequently...espeically the gents from the bay area who are often used to paying a bit more for services. Mid september to the first of the year is very busy So take advantage of those discounts while they last because mark my words they won't be around long. Oh and don't forget alot of us providers are back in school which means less available time for appointments and more clients calling.

Unemployement is up and when that happens the ranks of providers swells for some mysterious reason.
I think Pat was making a feeble attempt at humor but it might not be as far off as she thinks.
A legit response as my investment fund is crap right now, but I first escorted when I was eighteen during the crash of 87-88 and business was fabulous then and wasn't that hurt by it. I think this is something that might hurt some of the newer girls but then I was new then...not as many providers however. for those of us who are established it may not be so bad (fingers crossed)in fact business has been pretty damn good this last two weeks (quick rayer to the godddess of sex) but then I did take a bit of time off this summer so I had a waiting list LOL. I could be wrong it wouldn't be the first time so I will just have to keep spoiling those that I see..I do offer a b-day discount and extra time to my regulars though as if I am having fun and have no where else to go I don't mind staying longer at all. the cost of providers is very reasonable here considering the cost of living in many places like vegas where the cost of living is much less expensive you will shell out a whole lot more than $$$ for a good time.I do think the gift card is a good idea and I have offered something akin to that to a couple of gents but no one was willing to take me up on it...it was more like pay off my credit card and I will see you for $200 and hour though.
Actually, the present stock market crash is more like the grinding declines that took place in the '70's and the late '30's. This one is well into it's third year, and I think over 5 trillion dollars in equity has vanished. The big question will be whether we're moving out of a recession or not. George W's present crusade against Iraq could easily send our economy in a tailspin, particularly if oil supplies are interrupted. Certainly, if we have a shooting war and do move back into a recession, then all bets are off for discretionary expenditures.
