So these two gals are in the jailhouse and they both are 19/20 and they were arrested on prostitution. One of them had $1,200 cash. And I thought to myself damn that may be worse than being on drugs.
A 19yo with that much cash is bound to fuck it up. And don't deny it. The worse thing that can happen to a person is to make $$$ young and the second worse thing is to make $$$ young and fast. (i.e., Ask me about my first real job. I got my bonus $$$ and was in the strip club with $800 cash - what a stupid fuck

And even though the question was rhetorical, it's pointless. Girls are going to do whatever the fuck they want. I was with an 18-year-old last year (at least she said she was but I didn't card her) and she was great. Seemed like she had a good head on her shoulders, too.

Back when I used to drink booze. Pennsylvanians take a lot of pride in that. I even went to Ohio once, and actually purchased Yuengling through a drive through convenience store. Akron, OH to be precise.
To answer your question, 18 is a good age. Almost everything except buying booze is legal @ 18. Its all about personal responsibility, and I quite honestly, know lot of 30 and 40 yr olds who are less irresponsible than 20 some yr olds.

but yes, there is a minimum age for providers, it's 18 almost everywhere, even in jurisdictions where the "age of consent" is much younger than 18.
BTW where you in the jailhouse with them? How else would you know how much cash either of them had on them? and FWIW neither of them would have any money while in the "jailhouse" unless you were there when they were booked, you would have no idea how much money they had when arrested. I was in college, working part time and studying. Even back then, $1200 wasn't considered too much money. It was sufficient money for a 19 year old to blow through in about half a month or so.
I think that dealing with money at a younger age makes a person manage it better over time

I can't tell you how hold, because it would be based more on a mental, emotional and maturity level, but some are far too damaged and stupid to be in this business, and they are in their 30s and 40s, so age is not the only thing to consider. I am not sure what price has to do with it, though. If a 19 year old is charging 1200, I would think she's not an idiot and knows a little about marketing vs. one who is offering 80 dollar specials for that next fix
I've met plenty of 16 year olds who, had they earned 1200, would've put it in the bank and NOT gotten themselves in jail. Granted the people I'm thinking of weren't working in P4P (as far as i know) but the point remains the same. Young ain't necessarily dumb.
money management. Age is the factor, it is how they use common sense. Some young guys hobby with rent and food money while some providers take their days income and blow it at the clothing or shoe store. Who needs to buy a pair of shoes every week?
