It doesn't hurt to mess with him.  He deserves it...a bit!

And I Love his use of meaningful, factual, knowledgable information where numbers are concerned...
Because the rest of what he says is...well, you know...suspect;-)

So a friend of mine comes to me in a panic because she's being blackmailed. Long story short,  she's recently started camming. I told her to get out in front of it and tell the other important people in her life before they start receiving anonymous graphic images of her. Girls too young to have ever filed taxes before and I know at least one who frequents this board cams so my question is. Can sex toys, outfits,  lube etc be written off as a business expense? Also she has some self control issues and wondered if she can pay taxes in advance quarterly.

You need a super qualified and provider/adult industry friendly accountant to determine which ones exactly qualify.
The last thing you want is to pull a blatant red flag so the IRS can audit you..
I think no matter how much you think you can get away with stuff, you need to pay taxes no matter what..

Showing the "true" income as well as those business expenses can often result (for those with kid/s) in a refund due to the Earned Income Credit.

Generally the taxpayer will have a self-employment tax and a small Federal Income Tax before credits...but then those taxpayers may qualify for the EIC resulting in a refund (some are quite substantial) at both the Federal and State levels.

And yes...it does indeed help if a gal finds a nice CPA who is knowledgeable about the entertainment industry...which has various interpretations.

I think that would count as an AD on the General Board...
And that could mean trouble;-)  lol, louder than you

for the community. I find his tax related posts very educational. Not that I have any desire to become a CPA or anything like that...but still..

And as far as advertisement goes.. I think his handle is biggest advertisement.. if anything....LOL :D

I do appreciate him giving expert advice though.

It's not costing anyone anything... yet.  lol

I'd like to deduct my couch and TV and Internet / cable subscription. Some times I go to the gym or jog,  can I deduct my car or the side walk I was jogging on as my mobile home office?

I do think about making money and occasionally I see get rich quick infomercials while I'm too drunk to switch channels, so I'm guessing it could qualify as business expenses. :D

A man like you trading on those bitcoins (BTW...IRS has now issued some guidelines on the taxability issue) I can't believe you wouldn't have already deducted the couch, TV and internet as methods to follow your bitcoin empire.

And the gym membership...of course that's necessary for you to stay in shape.  Trading on international exchanges can be exhausting.

Now about that real estate investment in Costa Rica..sounds like the airfare, hotels, food and ticas are necessary while you are scouting for that next great money maker   :D

I'm suspecting that the donation I give to the ladies may be deductible too since it's everybody calls it a donation and I'm not paying for sex.  It goes under charity,  correct?

Still wondering if I can deduct the side walk though. I jog on it regularly and I see wear and tear so do I get a deduction over a period of time or just a one time deduction?

But it's good to know I can deduct my couch!!  yay  :

How do you people know Chgo is even a real CPA.  Maybe he just pretends to do girls' taxes in return for free pussy?
"I'm not a real accountant, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night."
PS: I also do brain surgery.  Call today.
LOL!
PS: Actually, CPA did give me some very good advice a few years ago on tax consequences of divorce.

Very true.  You always pay for pussy.  The currency may vary, who gets that currency and how the transaction is conducted varies, but one always pays for pussy.  It is NEVER free.  Although some pussies are more expensive that others, while some are dirt cheap.

As for that brain surgery...I know of a few here that could really use your assistance.

She should be getting 4k back.

It's called a 1099- Misc form.

I use TaxSlayer (very user friendly, and you can fiddle with the estimator while doing the taxes) and they even take their fee out of the refund.

Just sayin, long as a woman REPORTS 9-14k of income without a w-2 (using 1099-Misc) she will get the child tax credit.

Last year I was "house cleaning & babysitting"

;)

then yes, they should be tax deductible.

However, if she is involved in any illegal activity, i.e., sex for pay, then they can not be deducted.

If I was her, to be on the safe side, I would not deduct any of it so as not to invite an audit.

(still not an accountant)

hooker?

I don't think so...but maybe there is one or two who do?

Hence, when a gal is preparing (or using a competent preparer) she will discuss how to classify her income and how it was derived.  And as such there are a plethora of deductions that are available to most Schedule C earners (as most gals seem to be).  As I said...I've yet to see any gal show that they are in an illegal business.  And I've got a rather large sample size to work with.

As for an audit...NOT filing will more quickly invite an Agent to investigate.  Otherwise most audits are strictly randomly done.

I suspect you report as additional income those "office supplies" that you (and plenty of others) take from the office...at fair market value?

Just saying  LOL

That receives special consideration  ;)

I'd bet the Agent (if audited) would want to see them...figuring she's a snake charmer.

Also helps to be a web cam gal who squirts buckets...additional bonus there.

This girl squirts. I'm sure she'd be thrilled to know she could write off towels and laundry service.

or should I say "Tax Avoidance" so could you help me figure out how to write off my "P4P" as lets say a "Entertainment Expense"? Also do you think I can claim my hut as a "Domicile"?

By the way "Rodrigo" referred you, sends his regards and appreciates everything you have done for the "Cartel".
