I find these responses to Lara's posts a bit out of character for this board. But all are entitled to have and voice their opinion... here's mine :-) I remember the pounding Lara took when she first posted on this board and thought she handled that pretty well. She got my attention and through her posts here and her reviews, I feel like I have gotten to know her. Tried to make time to see her (or Dream) while in SD for a couple days this week but sadly, it didn't work out. But I do hope to see her on my next trip to SD. I travel around a bit and check a number of boards regularly. There are some where the providers are constantly posting... Seattle and LV are a couple. Perhaps that isn't welcome here. Have fun everybody.

Are any other providers as embarrassed as I am about Lara J's postings on the Discussion Board?  There are so many wonderful, hard working, reliable providers in San Diego that I feel Lara is a bad reflection on providers in general.  The majority of her postings either ask another provider to call her so they can talk (presumably about their clients) or voice her complaints about reviews. Discretion is extremely important to me in the way  I conduct business. While providers and reviewers are entitled to post information of value to TER mambers, I  generally feel very uncomfortable reading her posts.

Lara's postings aren't a reflection on providers in general. She is learning and finding her own way.

Hopefully one learns after reading these boards that there are definitely different strokes for different folks and we as readers can typically see through it and form our own opinions. Don't worry about us being able to see through the BS here including my own.

After hanging around here awhile one learns to turn on the BS filter appropriately. It will come in time. Let it go.

obviously everyone is entitled to their opinions and maybe lara does promote herself on this board frequently, so what? what i've learned more than anything on this board is the abundance of rip-offs, lack of communication, and poor provider service. so when a person like lara, who provides one of the best true gfe that i've encountered, answers her phone, appears on time,looks and smells great and makes you feel like a king - why not let everyone know. isn't this what this board is all about?

It's one thing to complain if a review is very derogatory or just plain false. But to complain because someone had an "average" or "nice" time instead of "hot time", well that doesn't seem a big deal to me. YMMV.

Take in to consideration that she had a very rough start on this board a few months ago.  I think Lara is doing a great job now with her new website and trying to be reasonably flexible with her rates for some of the guys around here.

If you're judging her by her postings the boards vice the wonderful time you'll have with her, then you are missing out.

The "average" review was quite a shock to her since she really had to go out of her way to make this guy happy.  I'm talking about fulfilling fetishes that would cost you more with most of the other provders.  Her comments were censored by the moderator so you really didn't get the full value of her complaint. (The moderator did his job, though - no complaints from me JBIRD!)

My experience a few weeks back was a far, far cry from a rip-off, but I certainly didn’t feel I got my $$$$$ worth either. Nice girl, but too much unprofessional behavior. I chalked it up to her inexperience and the YMMV factor. No review to follow, but I may PM Laura with my feelings about what she might be able to do in the future, to avoid the same mistakes.
Seems with the happy reviews, maybe that is already happening. Again, she is a sweet girl, just needs to learn a few things IMHO.

I too had a similar experience as yours.  She was nice but we just didn't hit it off.  I don't blame her either.  I have had some wonderful experiences with other local ladies and would see them before I saw Lara again.
