oh, i don't know that the Israelis don't care, as both you and me are cannon fodder in the eyes of Bibi, Ari, Tzipi, Ehud and the rest.  And they no doubt want to keep their powder dry.  I only wonder if they appreciate how easy you make it for them?

yep, it sure does tell me plenty!  Most of it bad.

Getting out from under an insane smear job attempted by Obama honcho Robert Wexler,  it comes to light that Gov Palin has  an Israeli flag on the drapes of her office.  Well, that ought to quell the falsehoods that she's a one-time supporter of Nazi "sympathiser" Partick Buchanan.  And, if this source is to be believed, Gov Palin, no doubt thinking this makes her AIPAC bulletproof, sometimes appears to wear an Israeli flag pin on the lapel of her blouse.  Senator Obams, allow me to introduce you to Gov Palin.

Personlly, i'd feel a lot better if Gov Palin had a US flag and the Alaska state flag adorning her office, but I don't vote in Alaska.  This is a small but highly annoying thing.

I am grateful for small favors, though, whenever and where ever I can find them.  I am so, so relieved that the photo of the fetching Gov Palin holding a rifle by poolside and sporting a two-piece bathing suit, that said bathing suit is patterned on the stars & stripes of the US flag.  Whew, wouldn't want to get the wrong idea that Gov Palin's priorities in this area might be a bit mixed up and skewed.  Oh, and personally i think a pair of fuck me heels would have really put the cherry on top of that photo, but you can't have everything, it seems.  I'm sure the many Palinophiles can find a suitable image to post with her sporting the desired footwear if they put their considerable energies to it.

Still, I wonder if Palin's display of the Israeli flag is not unlike protection money paid to Lucky Luciano and Meyer Lansky. You really hate like hell to have to cough up, but when you consider the consequences, you decide that discretion is indeed the better part of valor and swallow you pride.  And live to fight nother day.  And pay up another day.

A pity we can't have a presidential fusion ticket though.  Think of the levels of orgiastic joy over at AIPAC HQ if it was Obama with his Israeli flag lapel pin and Palin with her Israeli flag drapes ans Israeli flag lapel pin. Well, it ain't too soon to start planning for 2012.

Republicans Say Palin's Israeli Flag Says It All

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

Republican vice presidential candidate Governor Sarah Palin displays an Israel flag in her office window despite the tiny Jewish population in her state. Republicans say "that says it all" concerning what they charge is Democratic propaganda that she once backed Pat Buchanan, whose name is anathema to most Jews.

Florida Democratic Congressman Robert Wexler of Florida came out swinging at Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain immediately after he named Gov. Palin as her running mate. He accused her of backing 'Nazi sympathizer" Pat Buchanan in a previous election and said that Sen. McCain's choice was a "direct affront to all Jewish Americans."

"It's propaganda invented by the Democrats, and it is unfortunate they were trying to make these accusations without any factual basis," retorted Florida Congressman Adam Hasner, who represents the heavily Jewish area of Boca Raton in the Florida state legislature.

Gov. Palin explained that her alleged "support" of Buchanan consisted of her sporting a campaign button for him in 1999 when he visited the town of Wasilla when she was the mayor. Palin explained at the time she wore the button as a courtesy and that she was an official of the campaign of Republican presidential contender Steve Forbes.

The Republican Jewish Coalition has pointed out that an Israeli flag is a fixture on the drapes in her office. "I think it speaks volumes that she keeps an Israeli flag on the wall of her office," the group's executive director, Matt Brooks, explained in an e-mail to Politico.com. "It clearly shows what's in her heart."
I think it speaks volumes that she keeps an Israeli flag on the wall of her office.

Politico's analyst Ben Smith said "he has a point, surely; a Palestinian flag would have told a different story."

More telling is a close look at her collar in a video of an interview. Israel National Radio show host Tamar Yonah wrote on her blog that she noticed what appears to be a small Israeli flag pinned to her blouse.

Gov. Palin has little reason to wear it because of the Jewish population in the state, which is the largest in terms of area in the United States but whose estimated 6,000 Jews leave Alaska with one of the country's smallest Jewish communities. accounting for only 0.5 percent of the state's citizens.

Surprisingly, 70 percent of Alaskan Jews light candles on eve of the Sabbath, compared with 32 percent of all American Jews, according to Dr. Gerhard Falk, a New York State sociology professor.

Gov. Palin is a likely Israeli backer because she is "a very religious person, and the religious Christians are the greatest supporters of Israel," according to the Hawaii's Jewish governor, Linda Lingle, also a Republican.

More evidence of the Jewish/Israeli conspiracy! You can't even go all the way to Alaska to escape its insideous tentacles? Thank goodness for the Erotic Review Politics and Religion Board where XiaomingLover1 instantly exposes every detail of the Jewish master plan to take over and destroy the world. Without him, Yiddish would certainly be the official language of the United States (instead of just the secret language of our Jewish overlords).

There is no better indicator that someone has personally lost control of his life than when they obsess over another group of people that don't give a flying fuck about him one way or the other.

OK, it didn't meet with you exacting standards.  Probably the absence of barbs, one of two even justified, directed at Obama was the fatal flaw in your exacting, critical eye. No Magic Negro references, no description of Hillary as a cunt, or Pelosi as a stupid bitch, or complaints of media bias, or any of the other "obsessions" found so frequently on this board with which you do not find fault, was the fatal flaw.

Win some, lose some my starboard-listing friend, but they'll be more.

But what you think about the suggestion that Palin wear fuck me heels in her next poolside/rifle toting pic?

Those people are too far gone. You are more self-aware. I myself called Obama a schmuck on this board which I mildly regret. I was mad at him at the time.

Palin is something most people aren't, comfortable with herself. It's unnerving.

You do know that picture was a fake right? And quoting the Politico's Ben Smith?  Please. Who the hell in their right mind would dare hang a Palestinian flag in their office?  Those we the people cheering in the streets on 9/11.  However, I don't agree with any, elected or otherwise, US official who would display any flag but the American flag, and maybe a state or local flag as well.

You need to get off this obsession with Israel.  Granted they're no great friend to the US, but there are bigger fish to fry right now.
