First, the snarky Keith Olbermann corrected it, then the pundits, quickly followed by bloggers and journalists.  It was a joke people!!!  We all know that Biden received more votes for Pres than Palin received for mayor of North Bumfuck.

The implication (humor) behind the exaggeration was that Biden is sort of an unlikable, unpopular douche bag.  Now that the joke has been explained to you isn't it funny??
