Traveling to Philly...

I think offering pre-booking only if you're coming to Philly from Harrisburg is fine, however, I don't think you'll find many people willing to pay a deposit.  If you're doing pre-booking, you'll know enough about the guy to see if he's a reliable hobbyist and worth the risk of adding to your "see" list while you're in town.

You can see from the history of the ad pages, lots of high-end traveling ladies grace the Philadelphia area, so there's a good market for top-tier providers here, for sure. NONE of them require a deposit for their pre-booking.  Some of the best, Dolly Jewel and Chloe Carter have a cancellation policy, but you'll need to think if that's going to be a deterrent or not for hobbyists.  They have established, national reputations and can get away with it.

I would focus on Center City if I were you.  This is my $.02 anyway.

Good luck coming to this area - we'd love to have a highly rated new provider showing up regularly.

So by the end of this feb. I'll officailly be moving to PA, the harrisburg area. I plan on doing pre booking only, and willing to travel but want a deposit for $100 for travel once the appointment is confirmed before travel. That seems reasonable, right? Given my reviews and those who know me, know I'm a good person and reliable.

I think this is good feedback. It's not that some guys won't pay a pre-booking deposit, I'm sure some will.  It's just that with so many high quality ladies coming through who don't charge a deposit, why would you?

Also, CC is great, but don't neglect the Western Suburbs!!!  Although be careful if you're thinking about King of Prussia.  You can scan to board to see why.

Good luck and welcome!!

Listen to Lsmjd and FatElvis. They are giving you wise counsel.

Where exactly do ladies like to go in the western suburbs?

I agree with what the gentleman above said and I travel a few hours each way as the norm to meet with most of my gentleman friends anywhere. Asking for a deposit isn't going to happen, not in Philly, you have the wrong market I'm afraid. My suggestion is to just have a great rapport with those you do intend to meet so that question of someone cancelling on you isn't a part of the equation. Of course there is always weather and emergencies but that goes without saying, deposit or not.

It really all depends on the 'kind' of provider you are here. Do you meet with many gentlemen in a day by the hour or one per visit for a preferred longer engagement. You will have to decide which you are and plan and market accordingly. A suggestion, at times you can offer incall in CC and see how many appnts you get if you prefer doing it that way vs prebooking by appnt. Some gentlemen don't like knowing you are coming from far away and some don't mind, especially if they want to meet you. There's really no right equation, only what works for you. There's risk in every route here not 'residing' where you provide. But that's on us, not the gentlemen I'm afraid.

Welcome and good luck.

xx kisses

The Harrisburg market isn't terrible, as we do get some traveling ladies coming through who are very highly reviewed, along with some women from the Baltimore/DC area who include it in their rotation. To be honest, there is a dearth of quality women in the area so you definitely will be a breath of fresh air. I could see you doing well here, given those circumstances. Good luck to you and I'll keep an eye out for you.

Hi Megan, I've always wanted to see u in Vegas but never got the chance. Would love to welcome you to central PA, being from here I'm sure there are some of us who would like to cut your travel time to Philly and see you in Harrisburg area!!!

Megan - definitely agree with all the comments here re: deposit.  Philly is a 'suspicious' hobby community but, unlike Vegas, it's full of folks who live here and work here so long term 'relationships' are more the norm in this area.  As much of a pain as CC is for those who don't work there it's definitely the #1 location.

There's a lot of fertile ground between Harrisburg and Philly -- esp in the western Philly burbs but take note of those who advise avoiding KOP.

Central PA is definitely lacking in talent so you may find plenty of work close to home.

See ya soon hopefully!

Excellent post and I've told her the same!

It would be nice for you to ad your beauty to Pa, but Vegas versus Pa, you do know it gets cold here!  Lol.  I'll travel to see you, wherever you are.  Best wishes beautiful girl.
