I guess if the city was larger the demand would be greater and there would be more local providers. As it is, don't knock BP too much... in a lot of areas, BP is the only good advertising venue. I'm sure that even if not reviewed here on TER, a few of those gals advertising on BP probably have reviews on other sites. Better to make the most of what you have, not bemoan what you do not. There seem to be very few non BP providers in the area, and while we occasionally do get some traveling providers they seem to be limited to a select few, with the rest visiting Lancaster instead. So I'm just curious, what is the reason for the seeming lack of a hobby scene in Harrisburg? Where there a bunch of raids over the last few years that I was not aware of, or is it just lack of demand.
Also the city filed for bankruptcy. Lancaster has a major corporations that are not dependent on government contracts compared to Harrisburg.

How old is the data ? Sometimes those are providers who tour the area or retired providers. I do know some of Maryland providers do tour to Harrisburg. There use to be a lot before the financial meltdown of 2008.
There are other websites that have provides listed too.
so I have no idea if the provider data is old, good, bad... it is just what I saw at a glance.
I know a few of those providers that tour from BMore into PA. Most seem to travel the I-83 corridor to York, and maybe make a stop in HBurg, Lancaster, KOP/PM.
I agree about other websites, too. I'd bet a number of those BP providers are probably fine and have reviews on those other sites. I didn't bother to check, though - Harrisburg is not my town.
The point was that there ARE providers in HBurg. I can't help if they don't fit some dude's tastes. I also suggested looking at nearby towns, but again I can't help it if someone insists on only seeing gals within a 15 minute drive.
From what I've seen and heard from a provider, date check does not deactivate profiles for inactivity so it artificially inflates the number of the providers in the area. Besides 18 available does not necessarily mean 18 that I'd even consider meeting with. I know there is at least one girl on DC who works about 5 minutes from my house and is starting to get a very questionable reputation. At the moment there are only 9 girls showing up on the p411 search, it seems like 11 is about the average though. I don't really mind having to drive to Lancaster, but every one of my hobby experiences has taken me at least an hour to drive to. There is something to be said for not having to clear out my entire day for travel time and hobby time, and just being able to go to a providers location within 15 minutes. And as I said in my original post, I was just curious if there was some specific reason Harrisburg got skipped.

Now it is pretty rare. But there certainly was always work to be had. I now visit Lancaster PA more often. It's closer and the men will come from all around for some nookie. When I am there they complain to me that there really isn't any local talent.
