Now, some guys are definitely going to try to cheat and scam and work the angles, trying to hook up with one of these hot-looking, exotic, secularized beauties from that part of the world. No, friends, chasing around after Christane Amanpour or Iman is not pulling your weight in the GWOT, so forget that idea. [As well, they're both married].
Even great ideas are not perfect. What might be the drawbacks?
1. well, here's the obvious one. Men deprived of access to women get real cranky real fast, and stay that way for extended periods of time. And they're capable of acting out all kinds of ill shit when they're in that state of mind [and who honestly can blame them?] As well, since we are the accursed Other in the Arab/Moslem world, millions of Crusader-Zionist males swooping down into the souks and bazaars of the ME and carrying off [figuratively, or course] the maiden flowers of the Arab/Moslem world really could be the last straw for these sociopathic fuckwads. This could actually make things much, much worse. But WTF, it ain't as if any of the recent options we've tried have been world-beaters: Dual containment? Don't make me effing laugh. War in Iraq? Stop, you're killing me, along with some Arab fighters and who-knows-how-many Iraqi civvies. And 4000+ American servicepersons. Preventive war with Iran? Oh, that's a real winner. Propping up the House of Saud? Yep, another winner guaranteed to work in perpetuity. Listening to the Neo-Con-Men? Excuse me while I wipe the vomit off my keyboard. Support Israel? Ooops, more vomit, this time it's projectile vomit in the variables of distance, velocity and quantity.
2. Will American women also have to contribute and marry Arab men? Well, if they don't, their mariage/SO options are significantly reduced, as American men will be otherwise engaged. And besides, American female participation would allow us to attack the bridge from both ends, so to speak. Admittedly, women will face greater sacrifice here, as not only do they raise the kids, but they have to distance themselves and the whelps from poppa, and eventually poppa has got to be seperated from them and presumably returned to his native land. By gov't intervention if necessary. Yes, yes, i know the sacred nuclear family. GWOT, remember? Will American men be upset to see "their" women married off to The Other? No doubt about it, but remember, as Norman Podhoretz tells us every chance he gets, to anyone stupid enough to give the time of day to that superannuated old warmonger, this is WW IV. [I guess GWOT is too restrictive a canvas upon which to paint his bloodthirsty images.] GWOT demands sacrifices, so....stop yer whining.
3. Will Europe/Pacific Rim/the Antipodes have to take part? Yep. You wanna win this here GWOT, don't you. Or do you just hate America? And are you godless in the bargain? AND you're going to voter for Senator Obama; c'mon, fess up!
