That had better be a Federal ID then.

I can't trust the States to protect voting rights. Period.

"In swing-state Colorado, the Republican Secretary of State conducted the biggest purge of voters in history, dumping a fifth of all registrations. Guess their color.

"In swing-state Florida, the state is refusing to accept about 85,000 new registrations from voter drives – overwhelming Black voters.

"In swing state New Mexico, HALF of the Democrats of Mora, a dirt poor and overwhelmingly Hispanic county, found their registrations disappeared this year, courtesy of a Republican voting contractor.

"In swing states Ohio and Nevada, new federal law is knocking out tens of thousands of voters who lost their homes to foreclosure."

This would be bad, except so far Obama doesn't look like he needs swing-states.

flaming pink? You forgot to list the millions of Daly/Slimey/Yomama/Hussein voters in Chicago who have been disenfranchised if they have been dead for at least 100 years. How the hell can that be? They have their rights. Hoorah for the camel jockey Hussein, a total fraud. Can't he find a job selling vacuum cleaners or something similar that he may be qualified for?

Isn't that how it works in Chicago? Just because you are dead shouldn't mean that you forfeit your right to vote.

Whether you still think that goes on or is just history, Illinois still only has 21 votes, which Obama will win anyway, so the damage is contained.

Will Rogers once said "he never met a man he didn't like", & Republicans never won an election they didn't steal....

Hey they stole FL. in 2000 & Ohio in 2004, might as well go for the triple crown...

Every fucking election it is the same thing, Democratic voters in Democratic counties have their votes not counted, their registrations denied, registrations lost, etc...There are never voter issues in red state America...

I think Georgia passed a insane law that requires photo ID to vote - so who does this effect, the poorer people who don't have cars, & who tend to vote Democrat....

Republicans = always finding a way to rig an election..

"I think Georgia passed a insane law that requires photo ID to vote - so who does this effect, the poorer people who don't have cars, & who tend to vote Democrat"

I didn't know about the poor voters not having IDs to vote..They sure have the necessary IDs when they  buy beer and liquor .
The best scenario for the Dems voting day is the marked finger method.. They can sniff their ink remover bottle before they go vote again..

and a good argument can be made that the GA. law discriminates..Of course, you only hear what you want to hear, most states once your're registered to vote that's it, you don't need ID every f-ing time you go to the polls, esp. photo.

Quad, you're one of those who believes what ever garbage pill-popper Rush Limbaugh tells you to believe...

"Moose,...and a good argument can be made that the GA. law discriminates..Of course, you only hear what you want to hear, most states once your're registered to vote that's it, you don't need ID every f-ing time you go to the polls, esp. photo."

Rush is for sure a loud mouth but he does come up with a lot of truths the mainstream media hides..
I can not imagine why anyone would think a valid ID is not a legitimate requirement to vote unless they support fraud .. which by the way I think Moosey wouldn't mind some fraud as long as its for his guy..
I don't know about most states as I only vote in Va.but I do know  Va. has requires ID to vote...if you don't have your ID there is some form you can sign so you can vote but I would hope they would check all the drunkards who don't carry ID..In Va the id requirements are,one of the following
Virginia voter identification card
Valid Virginia driver's license
Military ID
Any Federal, state or local government-issued ID
Employer issued photo ID card
Social Security card  ..

yeah Moose I realize Social security card does not have a photo but there is only ONE valid carrier of that number....except in the case of illegal immigrants..

but I thought I might just copy the relevent portion.

"you don't need ID every f-ing time you go to the polls, esp. photo."

If you only plan on going to the polls once, you probably don't need photo ID, but if you plan on voting under the names of people who have been under ground for fifty years, I can understand why someone might want to see a photo ID.

Then you obviously were not a Hillary supporter or you would have voted in at least a dozen different states in the primaries.

Every time I vote, the poll workers check my drivers license to make sure the name on the register, the name on the D.L., and the face all match. They do this even though I've known some of them personally for years. It's the law here. With I.D. theft running rampant around the country, what's wrong with checking I.D.'s? Sure, it's not a foolproof way to prevent voter fraud, but it's a good start. But that's just me.
