Yanks get Curtis Granderson, Tigers pick up some good arms from the D backs. Melky Cabrera will move from cf to either lf or rf and the Yanks probably won't need to sign Johnny Damon

are still some details to be worked out, but it looks like a done deal now. I think the Yanks will benefit here. One, they get Granderson for centerfield, and can move Melky to either left or right. Two, it will put some pressure on Damon to sign a shorter term contract.
