I plan on going to TJ around 3pm and coming back around 6pm.  I remember last year during the holiday season it was a 2 hour wait to walk across the border.  I went in November and it took 20 minutes.  How with the holiday season how are the wait lines to cross.  Thank You
It won't be 2 hours...unless maybe Saturday, but maybe 20 minutes to an hour on other days.

You didn't say which day of week.  It matters.  Lines on Sundays are always longer than on other days.

As you say, lines during the holiday shopping season are longer than most of the rest of the year.  Same with Spring Break.

I doubt you will have a 2 hour wait.  However, I suggest you have a nice dinner and cross after 8pm.  Lines normally are much shorter by then.

Thanks I was planning on going on either Wed or Thurs.  Couple of friends are with me.  we usually cross at 2pm and start coming back at 6pm.

Any answers you get here will be "in general" - there are always exceptions.
Last Saturday, the line appeared to be almost 2.5 hours long (the longest I've ever seen it).  That was about 1pm.  So I decided to pay the $5 for a van to take me to the front of the line.  This time it paid off - my wait was only 35 minutes.  But a month ago, I was in a van for 2 hours.
2.5 weeks ago on a Thursday afternoon, the line was about 5 minutes in length.
In general, weekends are the longest waits, especially Sunday.  Afternoons are longer lines than at night.  I've never tried to cross back in the morning.  Take into consideration holidays, weather & perhaps any unusual activity as well.
But it's impossible to predict it w/ precision everytime.
