Weekday would work great for me.
Ok so here in Vegas we usually do parties on a Saturday because it's easier for most. But I was wondering, do traveling guys have a preference?
It is easier for married guys to have an excuse to get away during a weekday like Friday? Or is the weekend still preferred so you won't miss the work day on Friday??
I am asking because I am in the process of planning the formal event and would like to know if people have a day of the week that is better or worse for them.

weekday would be fun, but not just for the traveling guys but for the vegas guys also
Of course the group will be smaller, but think of the fun we could have!!!

It's usually for a long week-end. Saturdays work best, although Friday's are OK. too. I may get there late, though, depending on flight schedules...
In NYC, parties are usually held during the week, on Thursdays. Since there are so many hobbyists here, this works best for most. Most visitors from out of town to these events are ladies, whom plan their tours accordingly.
Next trip to Vegas is in January. A fall trip is not out of the question, though. M&G's are usually part of the equation...
Friday's or Saturday's would be easier for the KC kid.

Well for me, a non-LV out of towner, I would prefer a Friday or Saturday. If I had to choose between those two, I would choose Saturday. Now there are occasions when I'm in the LV area for a long weekend or other multiday timeframe that would cover a number of weekdays and on those occasions there may very well be a weekday where I could participate in a Meet & Greet.
