What have they given us...

A higher educational system that is answerable to no one.  that is - they are held totally unaccountable.

Needless high energy costs - no drilling in ANWR - when the US has the most environmental protective drilling technology - better us, than someone else, no drilling in the Gulf of Mexico - even though Cuba, Venezuala, Mexico and frickin CHINA already so do, no conversion of shale and coal to gas, no drilling anywhere - and the shutdown of refineries...The coastal region between Baytown Texas and Baton Rouge LA represents about 22 % of the largest oil refining capacity in the world, let alone the US - and we've  built NO NEW REFINERIES IN OVER 20 YEARS.... heaven help us if another hurricane decides do go in on that 300 mile stretch of Gulf Coast...  THANKS FRICKIN CONGRESS  All this has led to the next point...

We are held hostage for our energy needs when we could be independant - due to the no drilling policy.... and who are we held hostage by?  friendly countries?  no - just people who want us dead.

Thanks for a non-existant policy on energy - that would include - conservation, alternative energy sources and energy independance.

Focus on "things of insignificance"  - Steroids in baseball - who gives a flying rat's ass... gay marriage - again - who gives a flying rat's ass if a guy or gal- wishes to marry the same sex... I really don't care- I DO care about the 50% divorce rate...  the list is endless....  Terry shivo... sorry, but that should NEVER have been given the prominance it received... it was a medical issue... and not a political issue.

Congress has failed (that is correct  - they get an F) to provide us with an immigration policy that is 1) enforcable 2) provides for temporary movement across our borders so that those folks can be monitored and such that their home country helps provide whatever social services that they avail themselves of while in this country 3) provides a clear path to citizenship for those desirous of such and 4) provides appropriate punishment or legal action to those who violate immigration laws...  oh, and our immigration and naturalization officers should be supported instead of jailed...

Congress has failed to provide a balanced budget.

Congress has failed to examinea and regulate the REAL causes of the increase in health care costs.... that is litigation costs, malpractices insurance costs, administrative costs... these account for more than half the increases in health care costs....

The media.... litigation and the ability to protect from false representations within the media should be fair game... with huge punishments and settlements for misrepresentations...

finally - I would offer that no one should be elected to any office - unless they have held a private sector job - for at least 5 years.  That is, lived in the real world.

But hey, this is just old Bizzare one... and jack0 I am sure will like NONE of my positions.
