that there is no honor in being a "dutiful worker". There is a lot of honor in it. I was merely criticising the schmuck that believes that "business" and "businesses" are inherently bad and is constantly quacking about how much someone else is paid. Surely there are people who are overpaid, e.g., entertainers, pro athletes, etc., but if one gets caught in green with envy about what someone else makes they have a remedy, either try to duplicate it or get their priorities straight.

Government just HATES it when a citizen sees a glaring loophole in the lies he's been told.

It is only sucking up a good portion of our income to wage a ungodly war that no one else but the stupid f*ckin' idiotic, pin-headed, morons in the White House wanted in the first place!
F*ck Bush!!

If only the fear of god could be put into those traitors in Washington to actually serve the country and do their job the way the people are prodded by the media and made to show fear by governmental retribution for being late with taxes.

I think it was kinda funny how many commericials on radio that I have heard telling people to hurry up and file a tax return so they can get their $600 or $1200 bonus rebate. Just smells to me,I wonder how many people aren't filing, maybe they feel that they will end up ahead if they get non-filers to file.

I can't remember, but I have been told that the last time this rebate was given that most people's tax bill was higher the next year or they got less money back in their refund the next year.

Tax tax tax tax.  I work my fingers to the bone and I have to pay TAXES!!!!!

I hate taxes.

Taxes destroy the economy. If we cut fed corp taxes DOWN TO 20%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KAAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOM!  we'd be the best nation in the world!!!  The richest nation in the world.  Poverty would disappear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE MUST CUT TAXES.  NO CAPITAL GAINS TAX.  NO TAX IN INTEREST.  CUT CORP TAX BY DOWN TO 20%.

We can see how hard you work - ranting on TER.  Your fingers are doubtless mere stubs!

Geezer; Ya' gotta tell me.

Given the track record of 25 years of Reagan-esque corporate tax cuts enriching a finite number of CEOs along with the very popular trend of outsourcing manufacturing to third world nations for reasons of further corporate profits; HOW does giving continued and even MORE tax cuts to the top 2% end poverty here in America when the supposed "trickle down" never gets any further down than the CEO's pockets?

I'd have no problem with massive tax breaks for corporations etc if the trickle down actually trickled down.

"Poverty"? Just another term bantied about by the knee quivering, whimpering, meddling lefties who's leaders are all a bunch of super rich lying sheep herder bastards. Most lefties have no concept of poverty other than that they perceive someone accumulating more material things than they have (resulting from their extreme laziness). I have a suggestion for your sorry libbie ass, start your own damn'd business and you can pay the big bucks that you want. As an alternatice, quit being so damn'd materialistic and envious. Try to develop some honor, that is all that you will have to take with you when you die. Most libbies go out empty.

Is there no honor in being a dutiful soldier rather than a high ranking officer?

There is close to 300,000,000 people in the United States. It is folly to think the majority of them should or could be CEOs. There is nothing wrong with the captains of business enjoying greater rewards for their risks and ambitions; but to totally discount the workforce as “lazy” and unjustifiably “envious” and therefore undeserving of a decent living income is a stupid as well as elitist sentiment.

I thought Mr Geezers post was a bit bombastic but hey its better than being apathetic the way most of the population bends over and takes it up the you know where.

I like his spirit and he is essentially right on the mark....lol
