Sure was a good thing that we declared war against them Cuban Ethiopians, and Angolans, and also Saddam.  Those were really good wars, weren't they??  Got really good results every time.

And those outside agitators - you know, Saddam, Ayatollah Khomeni & the Shah invading Timor, caused all those problems with outside agitators, like them Jews coming from New York to get into them civil rights marchers, and cause trouble like communists, and the question is, just when are we going to come to our senses and NUKE them?!

The problem we always have is that we never use ENOUGH force.  If we were to NUKE them, that would solve the problems.  Nobody would fuck with us then - nobody would think no kinder nor gentler then, would they?

The WHOLE POINT here is to be the craziest dog on the block.  You know, the one that's always drooling and howling, the one everybody thinks has rabies?  That's the way to do foreign policy, with rabies.

Then in 1990, the Russians just got scared of us, and rolled up and blew away.  It wasn't because their army spent them into bankruptcy, and all their people said fuck this, we want Pepsi!  No sirree Bob, it was because of those pinko liberals!  almost got us into godless communists and outside agitators!  And Reagan had to sell thousands of tons of drugs and missiles to buy off the Iranians while Carter was still in office, and private sales of missiles to foreign enemies isn't treason, nosirree Bob, because his heart was in the right place, for God and against godless commies!!  Everybody knows we're tough because they watch our movies!!  You broke my heart, Fredo!

Thank you for granting an unabashedly terrorist supporting group of thugs legitimacy. That is exactly what the United States, and every other civilized nation, needs right now.

You have no official capacity in this administration, you have no diplomatic authority, you can neither negotiate with foreign entities on behalf of the United States, nor can you tender any diplomatic overtures to foreign entities. Yet, despite your utter lack of power or authority in any official capacity, you sat down and had tea and crumpets with an organization that supports supports terrorists, and almost daily commits acts of war against a sovereign nation. Thank you for doing that.

I have to say I admire you President Carter. Neither Kofi Anan nor Nelson Mandela were crazy enough to join you in your meeting when you invited them to do so. Yet your ancient shriveled nuts still have enough swing in them to allow to you sit down with hat in hand with our enemies. Truly admirable.

And I can't help but admire your dogged determination to continue on your diplomatic suicide mission no matter how many times you are humiliated. When Russia invaded Afghanistan a mere 6 weeks after they assured you they would not, you said the "scales had fallen from your eyes". You are truly a man of grit and determination when you reached down and plucked those scales from the dust and placed them right back in your eyes where they belonged. When North Korea lied through their teeth to you when you met with them on behalf of the Clinton administration, you took your humiliation in stride then too. It is truly admirable how incredibly naive and gullible you manage to remain despite your many failures.

But this meeting with Hamas though, it is special. It truly is, and I want to thank you for it. You see, not only did you once again kiss the ass of our enemy you did yourself one better this time. In a true act of love of country, you showed those thugs how easily we can be manipulated, and gave them the strength to continue resisting any action toward peace. You assured their continued defiance of this or any Administration, and you have allowed Hamas to form the impression that we are weak and divided as a nation.

So thank you President Carter. In this dire hour, that is exactly the message our enemies needed. You truly did this country a great and memorable service.

Obama would be Carter on steroids, and with the race card to boot

Jimmy is going to fall flat on his face.  Hillary and Obi Wan Obama most likely will NOT say how they are going to use diplomacy to solve the worlds problems after Jimmy's current diplomatic snafu.

Persian Gulf region will be regarded as an assault on the vital interests of the United States of America, and such an assault will be repelled by any means necessary, including military force."

Those are the words from President Carter's State of the Union address in 1980 which has become known as the Carter Doctrine. But, but only three-years prior at Notre Dame University  he announced to the world that we no longer had to fear communism and embrace dictators. Then only a year later:

1. Somolia was invaded by Ethiopia’s Soviet-advised and Cuban-braced forces in March of 1978.

2. Angola was invaded by Cuban troops in 1978.

3. Saddam Hussien in Iraq seized power in 1979.

4. East Timor saw some of the bloodiest massacres this past quarter century by a ruthless Indonesian regime backed by Carter.

5. In 1979, the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan.

Did I mentioned the Iranian hostage crisis. President Carter was a foreign policy disaster which Reagan had to spend a decade cleaning up. Carter's foreign policy objectives oscillated between the doves and hawks and never got it straight. An Obama adminstration will be worse. Mainly because he will fail to understand like Carter did that there are bad people who want to hurt us.

Like Carter, Obama will listen to his softer and gentler side and not know when to use force. Then again because people perceive Obama as soft, an Obama Presidency may be forced unnecessarily to deploy military action to appease his critics.

Mainly though I detect Obama as the Neville Chamberlain of our generation.

Obama had Wright that was bad enough on the Jews and now Carter is talking to terrorists like Obama said he would  if made Prez.
Florida is now in Mac's column due to Jewish vote and old timers  since the idiot Carter went ahead even shunned by Israel to talk with Hamas.
Jews think if Carter did it we know Obama will too :)
Thanks JIMMA you gave MAC Florida good deal :)

because Cpl Pee is getting more entertaining than you.

You need to get a new act - not the same old rant, puke & roll around in it.

should stick to eating peanuts. He was a buffoon as President and he is only getting worse. Jimmy should continue to be the poster child for Habit for Humanity, it takes all the talent he has to keep from whapping himself on the thumb with his 6 ounce hammer. However, in the finest pinko tradition, the rich bastard continues to believe that the world revolves around him and his "sheep herder wisdom."

there are limited resources in the world, and the most efficient thing to do is knock off the easy marks 1st - or better yet, let them kill themselves.  Republican population control is not a pretty thing, and that's why they talk other people into doing it.

Carter was probably the worst President in the last century. Not content with that honor, he wants to be the worst Ex-President in history. He's still pissed that he got the crap kicked out of him in 1980. If he was really a pious Christian, as he pretends to be, his ego would be 1/100th the size it actually is.

Hey JC you seemed happier building houses for poor people, and you certainly were better at  it than government.

yeah, you're right -- must have been someone else, not Carter, who midwifed the 1979 Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty and helped the one-time terrorist turned Defender Of  Western Civilization Menachem Begin win his Nobel Peace Prize.

I'm waiting on Bush's equal accomplishment.  No, wait, we've already had "Mission Acomplished"  back in May 2003.  Totally my bad.

Answer is------secular Egypt wanted peace, because they saw the danger of the Islamic devil within their borders. They knew their homeboys were way more trouble than the Israelis. This was the time of the political birth of OBL's # 2, the doctor whose name I can't spell.

Carter was lucky enough to be in the room when it happened.

yeah, and John Elway was  really lucky enough to throw all those TDs.

ingratitude is sharper than a serpent's tooth.  You'd think, after JC neutralized the Egyptian military threat to Israel on it's western border, paid a hugh $$$ bribe to both Israel and Egypt to sign on the dotted line, the Israelis - and their intemperate acolytes in this fair land - might maybe, just maybe, show the tiniest bit of gratitude, and ramp down the poisonous rhetoric from outrageously slanderous and libelous to just plain offensive and hateful.  But you'd be thinking wrong.

no repeat with Pallys?  as long as the Pallys cannot find their Ghandi, and as long as Olmert and the rest of those Likudist war-mongering mediocrities have AIPAC, and by extension the US gov't, snugly in their hip pockets, it ain't gonna happen.

enjoy camping out in the crossfire, my friend, as you're doing yeoman duty as potential collateral damage for the policies of Israel, which benifit the US exactly how...?  as for me, quoting some Hollywood vulgarian of yesteryear, I say please include me out.

If JC gets the credit, why would the Pals even need a Gandhi?

The Egyptians knew the big problems were going to come from the growing base of the Islamic radical fundies, and they had to stop pretending their problem was Israel and deal with the internal. Turns out they weren't quick enough.

It is ironic that the US Left thinks the problem in this country is Christian fundies. If you exclude Eric Rudolph, our fundies don't kill people. Maybe if Eric Rudolph had killed a lot more, the Left would have loved him. Maybe he would have his own posters and a T-shirt like Che.

He knows exactly what he is doing -- giving Hamas legitimacy is his grand plan, and fits in with his desire to undo history. Remember he eulogized the terrorist Arafat as "a visionary, a man of peace" at his memorial service.

Hopefully, it won't be too long before we have a chance to eulogize Carter at a memorial service.
