You hit the nail on the head. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, until that enemy is no more.

Give it or  month are so, then you'll be hearing that anyone who doesn't support Obama is a racist. I know some people already think that way, but that sentiment will go mainstream in the not to distant future.

Rush has been saying since the love affair between the mainstream(liberal) press and John "The Maverick" McCain began that if John McCain ever did become the Republican Nominee that they would go after him just as hard as any other Republican.  They only liked him when he was a thorn in the side of other Republicans.  Now that he is the last hurdle to a Democrat Presidency- He's the enemy!

The NY Times story is a total non-story.  There was no proof (not even antecdotal)of an actual affair with this lobbyist so they just sort of hint at it in a slimy way.  One of his campaign officers told this lobbyist to back away from him and that's the Red Flag??!!  He didn't even support her lobbying efforts.

If some bimbo walked into the NY Times office with Obama's jizz still in her mouth they would say that it wasn't enough evidence.  They would accuse her of stealing his juzz from a 3rd party and then taking a gulp.  But the NY Times is more than willing to put their foot in it (once again) if they can in any way help St. Obama.

You are absolutely correct in your observation.

Pathetic!

Did you actually read the NY Times article?  The Times never alleged that there was an affair.  His adventures with the lobbyist were just one piece of the story. It was about his lack of judgment and the hypocrisy and his history of saying one thing and doing another. Today for example at his press conference where he flat out lied about never betraying the public trust.  Perhaps Charles Keating and Lincoln Saving & Loan just slipped his mind.  Then there's also the issue of private trust with this guy, like cheating with his second wife while still married to his first one.

us Republicans don't have to read, we just know things.

Besides, we don't read or rite too good anyway.  But we nowe how hard it is to put food on your famblies.  Little buggers are allus squirming around, and won't hold still.

it really isn't,, because the NY Times is the source.

Don't you understand?

There is nothing to refute.  As I stated in the topic starter (Do you idiots read?) is that it's a non-story.  There was obviously an underlying slimy context (more reading) that the NY Times tried to put out there about a non-existent affair. "ALL THE NEWS THAT'S FIT TO PRINT"

The big smoking gun is McCain knows a lobbyist to which he gave no special favors. OOOOOO!!!  Go back to the DailyKos where you can play make believe.  Liberals are so pathetic.
