Meet and Greet
So we wouldn't be doing see through anything and would avoid drawing to much attention. I was thinking a ball room or something. And I know December is yours as well as January. BUT I was thinking October or November actually.
And the winter in Vegas is freezing. It's way colder here in the Winter than in LA that is for sure. Who knows, maybe we'll change it from our September end of the summer thing, to a fall formal 
So I stole this idea from another board and through my own twist on to it. But I think it's a wonderful idea and was wondering what people thought and if people would be interested 
I was thinking about maybe putting on a Vegas based winter formal. My idea is, that I would secure a venue, we could decorate, have the food catered in, have a DJ for music and get all dressed up.
Now obviously this would be a formal event. So guys would be required to wear suits or tux's and ladies would be in evening gowns. AKA prom style We could even possibly have a prom king and queen.
Now because of the cost of this event, there would be tickets to purchase for say $50 each or $90 per couple.
So, would you be interested in something like this? If so do you have any ideas pertaining to it etc etc. Feel free to PM me or email me at my personal email account.

But I am definitely in favor of themed parties, think its a great idea in general, and would like to suggest a Spring formal instead of winter. All them light see-through sundresses and all that

Like Fire and Ice, or A Night in Paris, or Winter Wonderland. Something like that ok. Oh and ticket price might be more like 80 per person or 120 per couple since this will be including a formal dinner Would that be an issue for some folks?
You want recommendations for themes...the Absinthe party was themed after Moulin Rouge, and that went off real well... so I was told :P
You want to make it a "formal" event... so I guess that rules out a Toga party, or a "Saturday night at the Hop" retro theme...

Keerist, Tasha... you HAD to go and use the word "formal".... all I can think of would be something like a Cotillion... which i already hinted belongs in a trailer park lol
ok why do people get together wearing suits n gowns? weddings bar mitzvahs funerals debutante balls, fund raisers, celebrity roasts, hoity toity auctions, awards programs, honorariums and dinners

Already got the BBBJam n Greet (booze babes n blues) in December... got to be something we can do with DATY Debutantes and their Yesmen? Oy... ok what do you expect from an improv when im too sober to think properly?
Oh hey... a mock awards program... film has oscar, tv has emmy, we've got the Heidi... )Heidi Fleiss) ...make up some silly awards... let everyone vote anonymously... and do the whole academy awards shtick...NAAAAAAAHHHHH..... easier to just leave the envelope and get naked :P
