On 7/12/02 I responded to a post by DerekFisher on the San Diego Board. His question and my response is here:

Today a very nice man whom I've never met but was concerned wrote to tell me of a new review he felt was inconsistent with my usual reviews (My limits for fbsm are discussed in my response to DerekFisher in the above post). And sure enough, mysteriously, a few days later this same person, DerekFisher, has written a review of me with performance and attractiveness scores well below my averages in which he discusses the exact same things found in our posts. What is this? A grudge bogus review?

Review has now been removed so for the curious, I will summarize.
Basically the review makes a big deal out of me doing the entire massage on the bed (untrue) sitting on his back (untrue) a "private to private" massage, and about my "wet pussy" grinding on him and how dangerous that is, emphasizing that if he just barely moved it would have "slipped in" (untrue). Sounds just like the conversation in the above posts. He also threw in that I did a little Russian (I didn't) and he also rated me a 5/6 which really stung - as the lowest scores I've received are a 7/7.
I have read this review several times and determined that any personal information he mentioned must have been gleaned from other reviews. Some of the things in the review have never happened (massage the entire time on the bed, the private to private massage and the russian). I do not believe I have seen this person at all, but if I have, he has posted several untruths in the review. In addition, in the month he said he saw me (June 2002) I was on vacation and didn't see a single client from June 8th-June 27th, making it even more unlikely he ever visited me. Anyway, I e-mailed Staff and the review was promptly removed.
I have no idea why someone would write a bogus review about me. I have always been a very upfront, friendly, pleasant and honest person and it makes me physically ill to think of someone maligning me this way. Please DerekFisher (and anyone else who might consider writing a bogus review), think before you write. Spreading untruths in a review can not only damage a lady's reputation but also inadvertantly hurt any personal relationships she might have in her life.
I am very saddened by this. I don't lie to my clients, I am very discreet and honor their private lives and personal information in every way possible. I do not try to cause trouble in your personal life, so please don't turn around and do these things to me. We providers are people with feelings and lives outside the hobby - just like you.

Some of these jerks write bigus reviews to retain VIP status without paying cash. Cheap bums. As to why he was so critical, we can only guess. Maybe he ran out of his medication. LOL

Gumby is right on target. I have been noticing this more and more. I see a lot of reviews of rip-offs, from people that are obviously TER members so I know they can see the reviews that certain providers are rip-offs and yet they still see them? I think not. I saw a review of Kristy in LA from montrealgirlfriends she hasn't been in town since the 22nd of June, yet she just got reviewed. Maybe the guy was behind on his reviews maybe not, just another example. Glad to know that Staff is on top of things to remove the reviews that are diluting the value of information shared here.
If you check the city stated in TER0702's Kristy review, you will notice that it is Montreal which fits with her schedule. Since the field of Other City in her profile is Los Angeles, her latest review will show up on a filtered list of LA providers even though this happened in Montreal.
I have actually notified TER staff about questionable reviews so that they can clean up bonus reviews.
I've long speculated (since this board started) that many of the VIP members were writing fake reviews to get access. Finally, we have one that is dumb enough to get caught -- you'd think they'd at least be smart enough to do a fake review of a provider that does not hang out on this board, and make the numbers consistent with those that were already assigned.
Then again, maybe it isn't that simple. The fact that this person gave lower ratings may mean they have a personal axe to grind -- maybe DerekFisher is a rival provider that doesn't like "fellow" FBSM providers going a little further than they are comfortable going.
I'm a fairly new member and recently relocated from Atlanta so I don't have any reviews posted here for this side of the world - I'm just getting started and learning my way around. Anyway, with my PAID membership I can remain unbiased. I wonder what would happen if you took away the FREE where all those FREE folks would go? $20 bucks is a small price to pay in relationship to the quality of information you get. It's a better return on your investment compared to the stock market.
