If an employer uses race as a factor when hiring an employee, that is racial discrimination regardless of the race of the victim. Do they feel all white men living in the present should pay for what occurred over a hundred and sixty years ago? What caused our government to turn against its own people? How did things go so terribly wrong?

Can’t you respond somewhat intelligently without being so defensive? It is not about me, and it is not about retards. It is about giving preference in hiring on the basis of race. It won’t affect me personally because I don’t apply for jobs. However, it is wrong in principal and adversely affects a lot of American citizens. I can’t understand the reasoning behind the premise that it is wrong to discriminate against blacks but it is ok to discriminate against whites.

the problem. We are talking about industries and innstitutions that hardly have any minority employees or students. The last time I looked, most of the students at USC & UCLA were white despite using affirmative action.
