I am not speaking for anyone on these boards but from conversations I have had with people I know personally..Many of us are sick and tired of all the Hate against the President for the last 15 years by half the country...Even if you disagree with everything Obama says you have to admit he is not the kind of guy that most sane people would have contempt and hate against.He will be able to talk and negotiate with other World Leaders without being shrill. He is much more charismatic and honest compared to MOST of the candidates out there and guaranteed if it comes down to HUCKABEE or Obama I am voting for Obama.

will vote for Sen, Baarck Obama. My first choice is Gov. Huckabee then Sen. John McCain. Gov. Huckabee is the only candidate who is featuring "Energy Independence" as a top national priority. He is also the only candidate that addresses the biggest problem with our health care system, it's costs.
Yes, he is a man of faith and that is a good thing. Science without faith and you have inhumanity and faith without science and you have superstition. Personally, I have never understood why you have to separate your faith in God from science. They are not only compatible it is necessary to have both for your heart and mind.

On the issue of time, well that is relative. I ask Quad, what is your reference point in determining the age of the earth and why does it matter in selecting your President? What do you use as your time scale; lithological data, carbon isotopes, or the magnetic properties of rocks through Detrital Remanent Magnetization (DRM) etc?
What does it matter if you believe the earth was created 6 thousand, 6 million or 6 billion years ago as some scientists believe? The geological record demonstrates that elements in various compositions have been formed then disappeared, but nothing is really lost; ever-new combinations and forms arise from the ruins of the old.
Worlds and systems may come and go but the universe remains. The Creator is of an Infinite Wisdom and we as human beings are finite in our knowledge. I am more impressed by a person’s humility than his pomposity to state facts he knows nothing about.

This is just silly. Not a single conservative would vote for OBAMA. He is 100% against conservativism. He is a globalist and socialist. That is the polar opposite of Ronald Reagan, the true figure head of the conservative movement.

It has been my observation that libbies have little, if any, conscience. You appear to have a smidgen and you are feeling guilty about it. Let me offer a solution, being a libbie is a self inflicted malody and can be cured by quitting the hallucinating drugs, by meditation, by getting a job, and effort at rational thought. You do not need to wallow in your present condition.

We support the troops, just not what they do, the war or funding it Also Dems think are troops are all raping and killing innocent people, but they support them.
I agree Obama is a very charming man, and I believe that it will be a tiny bit simpler for him to talk to some of the other world leaders. I think that he will be of greatest value in the middle east, not only because of his living there, but also because of his ethnic name. He might be way more relatable than the Bush's and Clinton's.
