I ended up going down there on saturday night and had a great time. I went to Chicago and found one of the hottest girls I've ever met. She was great, I just wished that she spoke english....it was a little scary going down there in general because of the area and stuff, but i was very cautious....but thanks for the tips and stuff guys
Ok, I keep hearing about going to TJ and stuff so I'm ready to go now. I've never been down to Mexico though. I feel like an idiot for asking all this but can someone tell me what I need to do to go down there? Do I need a passport, auto insurance, etc.? How much would it cost and where do I go? do I go to the border, park and walk or do I drive?

As far as transportation goes, it's better to park your car and walk across the border or take the trolly. Parking will run you about $7-$10. Also, be aware that sobriety checkpoints are setup near the border quite often.
Once you are across the border, one of the first things you run into are a million taxi drivers. If you don't speak spanish they may try to overcharge you so just ask one if he will take you to the Chicago Club for $5. They always say yes. Adelitas and the Chicago Club are located across the street from each other and have a wide variety of ladies. Many of the best ladies do not come in until after 9PM but the clubs are open earlier with a more limited selection. I prefer to go on Weekdays as the Weekends are very crowded. A typical trip upstairs with a lady will run $50-$80 when you include $10-$11 for the room for 1/2 hour.
Every once in a while you will see a post about the dangers of going down. As long as you act like a respectable visitor to a foreign country, you won't have any problems. I usually go with a friend and would recommend the buddy system for a first time visitor. However, you can go by yourself without worrying about it too much. Also, you don't have to speak any spanish at all to get by but it sure does help if you do speak a little spanish.
his suggestion to go with another more experienced monger. Look back on this board and you will see the occasional post by someone looking for traveling companions to TJ. Just post a request for someone to go and more than likely you will get a reply by someone ready to make another trip.
1010's suggestion about the clubs is the best for a newbie, but TJ is full of opportunities for the more adventurous. Many beautiful chicas at the Pussycat, Madonnas, Penthouse, etc, willing to partake for a price. And some of the ladies at Madonnas are just incredible. Not that you won't find 8's, 9's and maybe a 10 at CC or Adelitas. Happy hunting.

Gee, this must be Juan himself because that is not the general opinion of that website held by those of us who are veterans of crossing the border.
Clubhombre is far better and definitely not biased towards only one way of approaching Tijuana (or the world for that matter).
If you do go to Juanstijuana, be prepared to have to pay in order to benefit from the website.
He has a habit of expelling long time members who contribute instead of paying (part of the original deal) or who disagree with one of his opinions. It is definitely not a fair freedom of speech oriented website.
I cannot think of anything at all that Juans site has that Clubhombre doesn't also contain. The real difference is that CH contains so much more and is almost as valuable as TER is.

I went Saturday around 2:00PM until 10:00PM as well. Went to Adellitas. The best day/night club around. CC is more Americanized, looking very much like an upscale US disco. Most all the girls there are 8's to 10's NO EXAGGERATION!. Rates are a little more ($70-80 for 30 minutes plus another $11 for the room).
I did a 19yr old hottie, had a menage with two sisters in early 20's, and finished the evening with one of the sexiest strippers in AB that evening. With beers, taxi and sex, I spent just slightly over $300! Not bad for 3 pops and 8 hours of entertainment.
