I did call Doc a racist a couple weeks ago when he posted the poem everyone racist against someone and all racist against the Jews someone else wrote.. Sorry I just don't tolerate even sublime racism whether joking or not.. I have gotten in big arguments with some of my Black friends when they use the N word around me..They tell me to lighten up but in my opinion it just adds fuel and ammo to the racism fires.Probably one of the best lessons the Nuns taught me through the eighth grade was there is no difference in people and the differences only exist in peoples perception of different colors and cultures.If anyone in my class had possessed such a poem they would have wished for only 40 lashes.
I don't find him at all racist. He is very pro Israel, but that's something else.

Let me see here. 1) Racism is bad; 2) It's so bad it isn't funny; 3) Doc makes a racist joke; 4) Therefore, Doc is a racist.
Telling a lawyer joke doesn't make you a lawyer, Quad. Even if you think lawyers are no laughing matter. It also doesn't give you a higher standard; it only makes you dumb.
This all started back when I made a snide comment about quadseasonal beating off to pictures of Condoleeza Rice in drag. Until your response, I had no clue you were a man of color. I always thought you were a redneck cracker from the South. Your commentary always seemed to come from the right of harryj, but without harry's "salt of the earth" understanding of realpolitik.

FWIW - I've never had to defend myself against racism until now. I've had firecrackers, mud, rotten vegetables, a brick and a katyusha rocket thrown at me because I was Jewish. In college and afterwards, I defended myself, sometimes physically because I marched in favor of civil rights, gay and lesbian rights, the legalization of marijuana, not to mention pro-Israel causes. But never have I been accused of being a racist.
I suppose being a militant Jew makes it difficult for me to escape that monicker when applied by the ignorant and uninformed, but still, after 55 years, if I was a racist, someone would have noticed by now.
What really has me concerned is that I have allowed a zit like you to get on my nerves. Not since the odious funtime69 used to infect this forum with his rancid hatespeak have I been so enervated. I suppose it was inevitable there would also be an anti-matter version of funtime69.

Are you seriously saying that we should vote for one of your two choices, simply because they are NOT of Anglo descent, just to prove that we are not racists? Then you justify this by saying that the president is not all powerful anyhow, so bascially, who cares who's POTUS?
I've seen some stupid posts around here, but that has got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Maybe things will change but at this particular time the front runners are Hillary, Obama , Edwards ,Guliani,...I doubt McCane or Romney picks up much steam and Huckabee would only get the Evangelist vote..like I said the Media doesn't want Richardson for some reason...I know I left some out but the main theme is Obama and Guliani seem more appealing to negotiate with other World Leaders and from what I have seen half of this country does not despise either one of them..
