END OF MESSAGE

I don't know how many of the far kook left have never watched Fox but I do know many intelligient Democrats that watch Fox daily.Only the most easily led and mentally deficient would only watch one channel or channels that kotowed only to their beliefs..The millions of libs who only watch CNN and the millions of far right who only watch Fox are going to vote the way they vote no matter what the opposition does or says.. The reason The major Dem candidates for Prez will not debate on Fox is because they know Fox leans Right for sure and Fox will ask very tough questions that mainstream mafia would be afraid to ask..By not getting on Fox there is less chance they will alienate the intelligient Democrats who bother to see the other viewpoints..I would wager this has been discussed behind closed doors between all the Dem candidates. In more simple words the whole group is afraid {justifiably so} that Fox would  make a fool of the Democrat party as a whole if they agreed to a debate.

And it's an easy way for a candidate to show themselves "taking a stand."

Not to say that fear might not be a motivation for a few, but I think it's number 4 on the list, not number 1.

I don't like sending Ruppert Murdoch my money, and as a result, I don't watch Fox. And I think there's a few more who feel how I do.

Another possibility is that they don't want to give Fox a hundreth rating point.

I do not see the logic in your statement not sending Robert Murdoch any money but then again  a lot of you guys are not logical..I listen to NPR everyday and I don't send them any money..If you don't want to send Robert Murdoch any money all you have to do is do as I do..Change the channel or turn the volume down when the commercials are on. Just as I sometimes learn some things I would not know by listening to NPR you also would learn something new if you occasionally listened to Fox..Try to remember... A closed mind learns nothing new..In other words ..If you only listen to what you  "know is true" you have learned nothing new...

He owns too much of the media and his power needs to be broken apart. I don't want to add to it. Fox News spearheads his political efforts. He runs his outlets with too heavy a hand. I prefer to get conservative coverage from different sources, like National Review, and I look up things on Fox through transcripts and youtube when referenced by other sources.

And besides, I don't have a television.

The democratic candidates are serving my interests by not debating on Fox. Maybe one is yellow; maybe another is actually taking a stand. I could dream from it that they will maybe break Murdoch's monster up.

BTW, I don't consider NPR liberal. Sorry, I don't see it.

Just more laughing in here. Juan Williams would be proud.

right, ultra-right, and fucking nuts.

You'd never find Juan Williams turning off somebody's microphone, telling somebody to shut up, or calling them nazis. I call that professional. I guess that's too damn liberal.

All are "right, ultra-right, or fucking nuts" ?

If NPR is maybe middle of the road on your measurement system then who in the main stream (if any) are left of center on your scale?

I don't think you can get left of center on Zin's scale. I think John Edwards is too conservative for Zin.

I thought he might make the cut, of course Edwards is slightly to the left of Mao Tse Tung.

Neither was Lenin, Stalin, Ho Chi Minh nor Pol Pot. They murdered leftists, always. And you know this.

If it's a joke, it's even worse.

when someone knowingly spouts out bullshit. Now you know how I feel when trying to debate an honest issue with you.

The difference is, I'll admit it when I'm baiting you. You are too sanctimonious to admit that you ever post anything that's not the gospel, err excuse me, that's not sincere and totally truthful.

Either for comedy or because I get pissed. But I haven't done that with you.

Are you certain that conservatives know that's satire? I'm not.

I really didn't see anything that really looked liberal till the internet. I'd say "The Nation" is liberal. DailyKos. Moveon. Huffingtonpost. Those are liberal.

NY Times? You must be kidding. Right of center. CNN?  ROTF. Right of center. Wall Street Journal? Ultra-right. Fox? Fucking nuts.

Seriously Zinaval you really do not see any liberal bias on NPR? I am not saying they are kook far left but I definitely see a liberal slant but thats one reason I listen to them..I agree with Obama you have to at least listen to the enemy.
Also I have a TV but I haven't turned it on in months.. and I haven't had cable in years.Ever since I got high speed internet I watch Fox news and other news online..I can pick which stories I am interested in ..I don't care about tabloid or celebrity news so I can bypass all of that online..When they put the commercials on between clips I simply am reading on another site with the volume down.. At the least you should check out Hannity and Alan on Fox online as its a left and right debate on every issue imaginable ..very entertaining and surprisingly sometimes I agree with Alan..
I would wager my head that Fox isn't going down or breaking up unless it is done by the Government.. and depending on who gets elected in 08 you might get your dream come true..

However every now and then they've got a really great "gift offer" during their tele-thons, and I'll send them something to get it, but ONLY the minimum needed to get the thing i want... Fuck 'em...

Dennis Kucinich has appeared on the O'Reilly Factor and answered some tough questions.  O’Reilly said whether you agree with Kucinich or not you have to respect the man because he is straight forward and doesn’t flip flop on his answers.  O’Reilly went on the say that Kucinich was the most consistent among all the candidates.  Kucinich said the main reason he appears on Fox was because he was being ignored by the other networks and he wanted to get his message out.  Apparently, Fox has an open invitation to any candidate who would like to appear on the network.  Al Sharpton is regular guest on the O’Reilly Factor but Jesse Jackson steers clear of Fox. O’Reilly would love to have Jesse Jackson on his show but Jackson is either too afraid or too smart to expose himself. I wonder what he is trying to hide. (Sic)

to convince any Fox-watching Republicans to switch sides so it makes sense not to waste their time debating there.

Actually, the Fox debates are just as bad as the MSNBC & CNN debates. The problem with Fox is that all the analysis and spin before and after the debate will be done by Republicans so what is the point?
