My apology

I sincerely apologize to you for but in my defense, your "ad" really sounded like LE - as others will agree and did say so.

Seems like I was the only one wrong for doing it.
And for those of you who are so pious to speak out now and condemn me for my accusations, where were you then?

It's really funny how all the people who chose not to get involved in the first place are now coming out to say "I told you so" - Easy to say that now huh?

I should have known better seeing how I was accused of being LE when I first started out.  But I had a website, phone numbers, email, and a few reviews when I was accused.

I in fact, told her where to go to prove herself and help her out.

My alias is just that; an alias.  I chose to use it so I can speak my mind and not have it linked (good or bad) to my business.  You say I'm hiding behind an alias?  What in the hell are we all doing then?  I'm sure your alias is not your legal name.  Get over it - And this is my first "secret" alias.  Nothing has been changed, I have always been GPOV.

I again apologize to ONEYUMMYBLOND - I suspect your business will pick up when you advertise correctly and get some exposure on the web.  Welcome to the business - I'm sure you never forget your first few days......

Dear ONEYUMMYBLONDE,
I'm sorry for thinking you were a cop and I'll be the first to apologize for being so rough on you. (unless somebody beats me to it.) I hope the uproar of your initiation will result in the spectacular success of your new endeavor, that you'll meet lots of wonderful people and get huge amounts of cash.

This post from PROBODY is plenty of assurance of your credentials for me:

Please accept my humble apology.

I had the pleasure of spending some time with "oneyummyblonde" yesterday and she definitely is yummy.  5'9",  127 pounds and beautiful light blue eyes

I'm sure she will appreciate your apology.

Because of the "warm welcome" she got on this board, not to mention her phone number being posted, which staff refused to remove for her, she will be regrouping.

The thread really pissed me off, I decided to find out for myself if she was legit, it only took a few moments on the phone along with a couple of emails for me to be convinced.

I must say the response she got was childish and low class, not only from hobbyist but also from a supposed provider who is hiding behind an alias.

I hope the existing providers don't ever retire because it's going to be real tough for new providers to break into the business.  It's ok to be careful and cautious but there is no excuse for the type of response she received.

They say that there is 3 sides to any story.  Hers, his, and the truth.  In this case you have been misinformed HOTLICKS4U.  She never asked for her number removed.  (see her email)

Truth be known, her first message should not have been posted because there was no web link.  We do not generally allow providers to promote on TER if they do not have a website because they cannot be reviewed.

As far as the thread goes, you are correct.  We, as a community, need to be more open to new providers.  We now have a SD moderator that will help keep the board a nice place to hang out.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Subject: threatening messages!

i am fairly new to the E review & have been getting an onslaught of strange & somewhat scary messages...
mostly accusations of being a cop, desperate, a charity case, & so on.

HOWEVER...I did recieve 1 that mentioned an officer being shot & killed, & asked me how I felt about that happening to me!
that is generally the way it was worded, but enough to worry me!
PLEASE WRITE ME BACK when you can, i understand you're qutie busy1

you might want to read the responses on the San Diego discussion board from
6/25 & 6/26.

THANK-YOU!!

After speaking to her again,I stand corrected she never sent another email requesting that the phone number be removed. It was my misunderstanding.  She didn't send in the email requesting the phone number be removed because for some reason she didn't think it would do any good.

My apology

I edited the message to remove the phone number.

As a reminder to all, please do not post "sensitive" information.

A phone number would fall under my idea of sensitive, unless it was provided on a website.

In this instance, the phone number hasn't been made available to the general public, so it has been removed.

OYB,

Sorry to see the "welcome" you got to this board. I was going to not respond but being that I know you it was hard not to. :-)

What's sad is that a provider attacked you, one that is known and hiding behind a name. (as Hotlick said) She outed herself before with an alias and now changed it again? uhmmmmmmm

I'll leave it at that for right now, good luck and stay safe!

It's a good thing to admit you were wrong, although I did not name you as the one with the changed alias?

I read the first thread when away a few days ago, I thought it would die down....it didn't but only got worse. But to put those pics up on the thread? cmon we're supposed to be adults here.

Others should now come forward and apologize as well. :-)

Stay Safe

I'm sorry to hear that oneyummyblonde's experience was bad. When I am wrong I am man enough to say so. However, the posting that she put out to the public. While not thinking of LE, was really in bad taste. I like to think that the TER boards as a little more classy compared to magazine\paper ads and other venue's.

As I said in my last post, with a posting like that one. You have to expect to be flamed, cop or no. I also think it was compounded with her being associated with ChrissyDial. Which apparently has a past on this board; good\bad?

I do not have any problem with a new provider coming on board, in fact I would encourage it. I think the boards are a great place for a provider to initially meet potential clients. I do hope that in the future new providers will learn from this what not to do in this business.

My sugesstions are:
1. Have a mentor to show the ropes
2. Have a website
3. Test the waters by just talking on the boards before advertising

She is in no way associated with me, I am not a provider or do I pretend to be one.

Actually didn't see any point in posting anything in the first string. I took a pro-active route instead and devised a way to meet her and prove she wasn't LE. My instints told me she was legit and if I was wrong I would have posted that too.

In later posts you did offer some suggestions that is true, but it the first string you got it fired up with your cartoons, not once but twice.   I just hope we all think before we jump next time. Maybe offer the suggestions first and the cartoons later.  LOL

Yummy is a sweetheart and I don't think she is the type to hold a grudge. I wish her the best

I think the LE scare has a lot of us looking like a dunce.... me included!

And if Yummy is in to it, I wouldn't mind getting a spanking from her ;)
