Why are the Polar ice caps melting on Mars? I have yet to read one report from the Gore crowd answering this question!

The ice caps are melting on Mars because of the extreme heat we have been emitting from Earth the last twenty years..Geeesh ..Don't you know that heat rises??

Ok son, here's a lesson. Look at Mars. It's a dry dead planet except for the polar caps, which are melting away as well.

You're looking at the END result of catastrophic Global Warming when you look at Mars.

Where do you think we originated anyway? Out of the finger pointing of some imaginary deity who resembles Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments?

The Kooks aren't the Global Warming doomsayers, the REAL Kooks are the idiots who keep insisting nothing is wrong with our way of life as a global entity.

For an example of a REAL Kook, please review the post above mine.

Both are dynamic systems. I mean you have a sample of, what, two planets? Flip two quarter. Are you surprised when they both come up heads?

If not coincidence, then it could be the sun is getting hotter. But only now are instruments in place to determine how much solar energy is coming in.

You could count the size and area of sunspots. That's correlated with solar temperature. I believe that would be easy to recognize. However, the sun gets hotter and cooler on an 11-year cycle (currently), but never enough to effect temperatures on earth.

RWU pointed me to a scientist that said the sun has been getting hotter by a half-percent per decade for the last three decades. But he also said that's not enough to have any detectable impact on terrestrial temperatures.

The only problem I have is that all other information I've been able to find on the matter indicates that the satellite measurements haven't been accurate enough to determine that till the last decade. The accuracy was two percent.

So, IMO, it's a coincidence.
