Just to clarify ...

Apple is Thai, born and raised there. Her vacation package included her time and attention as well as help with introductions to the local scene, how to avoid local problems, and introductions to other friends (if you wanted). The rates were very affordable.

ALMOST helpful because it would be something to look for but NOT so helpful because I don't know how to find Apple or someone else like her today

Go to Thailand in March for 10 days - looking for a companion - of course all expenses are on me. I'm a highly educated gentleman - 58, TER verifiable.

I'm assuming that you are an American (culturally) starting someplace in the US.

My review of Apple (from Thailand) is completely gone. She went back to Thailand but continued to offer full time vacation specials to her friends from the USA: touring, shopping, sightseeing and other pleasures. That was around 4 years ago. She must have completely delisted. I can't find anything about her now. Since she had spent time touring in the US, her English was very good and she knows American culture and preferences.

IF you can find someone like that (prior experience in US, excellent reviews, knows Thailand like a native), maybe that could work for you. Oh yeah ... Apple was already back in Thailand, so you'd need to cover local transportation only.

I have dated a few Thai providers here in the states, and I am still friends with a few of their GF's who are still here and still working. All of them have "friends" back home who I am sure would jump at the chance for an extended date with an American coming to visit.

This could save you thousands in airfare and thousands more in the cost of your "companionship" as I am positive a Thai Girl in Thailand is going to charge you a lot less than an American girl who is traveling halfway around the world with you, not to mention any one of them will speak anywhere from decent to perfect English and most of them will have reviews here on TER and elsewhere.

If this idea is of interest, send me a PM and I will reach out to one of my "friends" and have them get ahold of you to set something up

In 10 days you can sample a few ladies and decide who you may want to stay longer. Flying someone for 10 days and be committed to someone who you may not be compatible could make for a long trip...just saying here.
Plus I hear there's some nice ladies out there..

they can get into with the oodles of gorgeous local talent.

Sounds super fun!

...and I have quite a bit of experience with international travel.

Also, I've been hoping I'd eventually an excuse to try out the Rosetta Stone software in Thai.  :)

I'm a lovely, educated, petite brunette of mixed (French & Spanish/Moroccan) descent currently based in Los Angeles.  I've been all over South America, the Caribbean, some of Europe and some of Africa, but not yet my dream destination of Thailand.

I am enrolling in a PhD program to begin in the Fall 2017 semester, so I'd love to squeeze in a few international trips before I am neck deep in academia again.

Hope you find the perfect travel companion you're looking for!

xo, Mia

I would love to travel to Thailand, it is on my bucket list for this year. Great cuisine i would love to try from the originating country. I love to travel, and if you couldn't tell a foodie also. haha. It seems like we would have a good time...why...because I have yet to meet anyone who didn't enjoy my company.

I provided my website if interested :)

Im a great  travel companion see for yourself

I would be interested and would offer a stellar rate for a 10 day trip.

I love travel. I am originally from Germany now living in NYC. Thailand is some place I would love to travel to especially with a fun, sweet gentleman. Please lets get acquainted and see if we are a good fit hon.

I am a fun exciting companion who loves travel!

Of course I am just seeing your post. I am Oc based, but I travel all over. Extended dates are absolutely my preference since I am into the GFE.
I'd love to learn all about each other and possibly be considered for your next adventure.
Kisses,
Julia

I'm a little late to the party but traveling is my forte... then again, I'm a dual citizen it kind of has to be.

I love traveling but most of all, I love exploring the area with someone else.

My main rules for adventure are this...

1. Don't forget your passport/ID on the breakfast bar or in an empty wine box. You & your Uber driver won't be in a race against the clock (we won).
2. Eat... like a local.
3. Let people in. Yes... talk to strangers. The community knows more than us.
4. Say yes to adventure more often than no. Age is irrelevant to adventure. Once you're over the hill, you pick up speed.
5. Walk a lot and get lost.
6. Don't (insert expletive). I know we're tired but let's find something to admire.
7. Never pass up the opportunity to use the facilities... seriously.
