I recently have seen many providers post offering BDSM services for more, than their Escort tribute. My ? is why, do you think an Escort would charge double their normal rate for BDSM services?
Example: Escort 500hr & BDSM 1,000hr
My personal opinion is the provider either does not enjoy BDSM, or has no idea what they are doing.
I've seen this with some providers also. "Justifications" for this policy (let's not call them "reasons") might be:
--As you suggested, doesn't really enjoy BDSM.
--BDSM requires a much wider array of toys (=$ outlaid), and it's "only fair" to require those clients who are "the market" for those toys pay the extra freight.
--Related to above: A regular date is (generally) a regular date. BDSMers tend to have rather active imaginations, so the provider has to put more of herself out there into "playing the role", to set the appropriate scene. Also, there are the shy-guy kinksters who either don't really know what they want, or do know, but have to be drawn out by the provider to get him to talk about all his shameful little fantasies. Sometimes, this even takes multiple appointments for the provider and client to get on the same page (speaking as a former shy-guy myself--I'm much better about this now than I used to be).
Now what about the flipside? My big bugaboo is the gals whose websites or other promotional material say "absolutely no sexual services offered, and don't even ask"--then you get in contact and they start saying stuff like "Well, I offer a straight BDSM session for $x/hour, but something more like a kinky GFE for $y/hour". Just as it's aggravating for providers to try to figure out what clients want, it's tough for clients to figure out what services are *actually* on the menu.
Traditional Domination which can vary from mild play(which is one rate) to extreme(which is another rate)..Also there is very little if at all nudity for the Domm. unlike GFE(which is one rate to PSE(which is another rate) Therefore I feel its the experence of the lady and what she feel is more work/worth for said rate...and Yes BDSM is more work...however it doesnt have to involve nudity of my part and its always wonderful to have some one come suck my toes for $500 while im fully dressed and were both satisfied.

..what bugs me is how many times I've looked at a supposedly "traditional domme" (= "no sexual services offered and I mean it") website/ad/whatever and passed on it (since I really do want a happy ending there ultimately--something other than being "permitted" to engage in a self-provided j/o)--and then months or years later I find out that said "traditional domme" does in fact provide a broader range of services after all.
It's sometimes very difficult to tell who's willing to do what in the kink niche of the hobby world--and I know I'm passing on what could be some fun and exciting playdates, and the ladies are letting potential revenue go by the wayside.
It always seems backwards to me that a BDSM session with a Domme (BDSM with the provider as a sub is a whole different ball of wax) costs more than typical escort activities. I would think an escort would welcome the opportunity to play the top role and have a little less, err, physical exertion.
But I'm sure much of that comes from my paradigm of what I'm looking for. For me the ultimate is a true Domme/kink professional who offers a little more sensual contact than most Dommes allow. If someone is doing FS every day then I suppose their paradigm is anything beyond that is fair game for an upcharge.

I neither charge different rates for different services, nor do I attempt to market myself as a BDSM practitioner. However, insofar as all erotic practices are in my sphere of interest, I know that some scenarios can take much more out of me than others, regardless of how much I enjoy myself.
Kidnapping scenes, public roleplay, cuckolding sessions, and all that require much more orchestration besides the actual session time, and I can see a woman wanting to be compensated for her time spent on logistics.
I've unfortunately had to turn down dates that looked as though they would require more of me than I had to give at the time, rather than go back to a man with a laundry list of extra fees. Of course, I wouldn't blame them if they went on down the line to one of the other ladies that charges extra for BDSM experiences, and was willing to put in double the work for double the fee.
I do charge a little more for modeling and role play in an extreme case...like extremely detailed and risky role play is considered modeling for me even though I enjoy it all.
But I would never consider charging that much...mine is $50 more per hour...lol...quite a difference. And usually never enforced cuz the sexy Dommes just simply take care of their ladies.
