1. I agree with others here, if reviewers only have 9s and 10s, they do lose some credibility. But since all the reviews are fiction anyway you take what you can get!

2. 38 years old here. I didn't propose until I met someone who literally changed my life. Someone I couldn't envision spending time away from. Someone who I knew would be a great mother (I wanted children). Someone who accepted me as me. Someone who shared my values and desires.

And after we had dated for three years, and I knew that she was really who she portrayed herself to be(because there are a bunch of men and women out there that pretend to be things they aren't), I proposed.

Bear in mind that marriage qualifications for everyone differs. My needs in a marriage are based upon how I grew up, the positive (and negative) role models and situations I lived through. I suspect that's true of almost everyone. The sad part is most people know what they DON'T WANT but very few people know what they DO WANT. Good luck.
