First of all, I do not know what inspired the lady you speak of. But, I created a variety of exclusive travel packages for a number of reasons. But, I can offer my main reasoning and maybe give a bit of insight from our perspective.

The main reason I created the page was simple: I was tired of going through awkward discussions about rates for arrangements that I didn't have listed. I learned very quickly that a LOT of guys like having the option of bringing a lady to them exclusively. They don't want to have to wait for a lady to make it to their area on her own because sometimes there is no telling when that would be. Those gentlemen who do like having the option have no issues honoring the lady's request to take care of the arrangements because most appreciate the fact that she's willing to make the trip for the sole purpose of accommodating him. It's not about dumping our provider expenses on the client. It's about a gentleman who has no problem going after what he wants in this manner if he chooses to do so.

As far as trusting that a lady won't run off with your money, I am not sure where the concept of full payment beforehand comes from. The rates are listed, so I already know beforehand what is coming my way. No need to make the situation awkward by demanding it upfront. I have traveled on exclusive arrangements where I've been paid as soon as I reached my destination, immediately before departing, and even a week after the arrangement had happened (the last situation was an extremely trusted friend). It's all about what you and the lady are comfortable with. Obviously, these types of arrangements aren't for everyone.
