Of course they have no answer and they use a alias..When they have no logical response they either use childish insults or use a alias and no substance to their argument...Next they will tell us how high gas prices will make us build wind farms.....

kyoto - and other designs.
Plain and simple, the kyoto accords are a scheme to place a cap on Carbon emissions.  This means that if you produce more carbon emissions than you are allowed you have to pay a penalty - or you have to purchase carbon use credits from those who produce less or below their quota of emissions.

Simple enough.  But - what that will ultimately mean is that developed countries will have caps set on them that will force them to purchase credits from other countries... increasing our national debt... what to do?  tell companies that they can no longer produce the amount of C- emissions.... thereby forcing an export of the industries that produce those "extra" carbon emissions.  Bye bye jobs.

But because "global" carbon emissions will not be less (just produced in a different part of the world) there will be no (Zero) decrease in overall carbon emissions... will that affect your local weather?  I suspect not.

Oh, and it will also mean that when you fill up the family SUV....  you will pay 1) for the gas... at a higher price - cause now we have to import more gas (not the crude) and 2) purchase a c-credit to use the gas...  welcome to $7/gal of gas.

Do the math dudes... Gore is bad for the hobby.

I mean, something like that, dude.   Lemme have some of that stuff you're smoking.

This isn't bigotry, but it's definitely lunacy.

Do the math, dude.   Seriously.  Get down to the nearest ER and tell the duty psych all about why Gore is bad for the hobby.

and last time I looked - that meant us... course the way we are headed that might not be for much longer.  really - ya offer something here... but tell me how this scheme is not going to cost more to travel, heat the home - heck even run a communications rich service ie. providing.

Al Gore is gonna mess up the hobby.

Honestly, Bizzman, you're a fucking loon.  You could be preaching God's own truth, and you'd make it sound like Bolshevism.

Hasn't anybody told you that the best thing you can do for your cause is STFU?

but you've got him WAAAAAAAY beaten - you're a fucking loon.

Have you ever written a logical sentence in your life?

Have you ever thought that if gas goes to $7, there will be nothing left to do except stay indoors and fuck?

Betcha never thought of THAT, did you?!

Seriously man - check your furnaces and stop hitting the glue, you're not getting enough O2 in the brain cells.

Well, I'm beginning to understand why you're a failed academic.

Possibly it's because of your inability to express complete thoughts.

He should be in charge of brain farts

plans (a la Kyoto) would not raise the cost of Gas and heating oil (or electricity to cool your home.. unless of course you like fucking in 110 degree heat!).

And ya gotta get to the ladies... or if they come to you, they have to pay transportation... fewer traveling ladies etc.

Wow, not one provided an explanation... and ALL posted under a pseudonym... except Scirptfixer... That must mean that you know, you've  no real answer.

Not necessarily the answer you're looking fer Bizzy, but under classic supply-and-demand microeconomics, $7  per gallon gasoline would probably be well past the point where the search for usable alternatives kicks in.  So, who knows, in the very long run, if your analysis of Gore's prescription is correct, it could indeed be good for the hobby [if not for the macroeconomy, the US balance of payments, and US foreign policy in general.]  Though i doubt that Gore has any of that in mind.  Also, probably none but the youngest here are going to benefit, because in the very long run we're all dead.

But, also thinking, in the short term, less disposable cash to spend on providers. And the cost of travelling some distance to see one beomes prohibitive.

But again, using the same supply-and demand thinking, as $$$ for hobbying declines, providers lower their donantion requests to accomodate these changed cirumstances.  But, then again, as returns from a providing career diminish, these women leave the profession for greener pastures [or migrate to greener pastures], and there would be fewer new entrants into the providing career path, allowing the hold outs to maintain or even raise their donation expectations [scarcity factor].

Ah, forget it, I'm devoting myself to abstinence and, when that fails, self-abuse.

yea, pretty much knew the answer... XL1 provided them with the obvious one... sad to say they did not come up with it themselves... and sad to say - Gore and his ilk do not wish that to work either....  I think that they are sincere in their efforts to destroy the US as they believe that it is not a good place.

Bizzy, TY for a kind word.
