TER is an openly available board, surely closely monitored by many who would like to see it, and every one of us, out of the business. To openly share details about how much, or little, different people screen may be most helpful to the people who do not wish us well.

another question for our illustrious ladies..would you see a new client based solely on his reviews..p411 ok's..whitelists..etc..OR are references always mandatory in your selection process? our inquiring minds would like to know..
FOR ME...As long as his screening is in tack (i.e. P411,white-list, rs200..etc) it makes our jobs easier. I do look at reviews as do some ladies I know, to see what kind of person he is.
If a man is consistently tearing down providers in reviews, he is not likely going to be any different with you.

I met someone who later on ,was actually posting some pretty goofy stuff on here and I saw he had 21 OK's on P411 so i contacted a couple of the girls who gave him OK's .Got good feedback . But the guy was not truthful about his occupation.I brought this to the referencee's attention and it was agreed that further screening was much needed. I let P411 know and I asked them if they verified his work and I was told no one called him. So in answer to your question it should be mandatory to get some more information on an individual . Not everyone is honest .

& a couple of the girls you contacted gave you ok's.....why do you need his occupation?
Isn't this about safety...why do you need his work & phone number, other than to hold something over him.
...it matters not how many okays or even a reference. If all that hides his real identity and he suddenly thinks it's a great idea to hurt someone.
I get personal info and in years, I mean years I have not had anyone try anything remotely dangerous, nor rip me off or ANYTHING because they have given me the means for recourse. What I and other ladies have heard on bad client boards are the guys who give nothing but board names and handles are the ones who do the most damage.
They have nothing to lose and can't be found. So if you firmly believe we do it for the sole purpose of having something over our clients, so be it and I am sure some ladies have done something to warrant that feeling.
I guess I have had some pretty decent clients visit me over the years who have had nothing remotely nefarious on their minds, so giving me a real name and such was never an issue.
Always do what you feel is comfortable.
as every gal has her own method of determining what is her comfort level in screening a guy.
But you should also understand that there are gals here that have an agenda that has very little to do with screening for protection.
Fortunately the vast majority of fellas know who these gals are and avoid them like the plague.

If they need that kind of info...work #, I thank them for my time & move to the next hottie. That's how I determine my comfort level.
That is how you are insuring his good behavior. You are using his information as leverage indirectly. I know why you do so, some guys with reviews and OK's are some of the most pushy clients out there. I have heard of more than one guy that shorted, raped or robbed a provider that had OK's and whitelists. Having real leverage often stops that. It is foolish to see clients without real info on top of everything else you require.
But unfortunately not every woman in this game is well behaved with this info. Many are down right dangerous. Guys are getting outed by these hookers daily for the smallest of offenses like NCNS, emailing to often, honest reviews, and even board posts the lady don't like. There many such public site that do little but out clients for small infractions. Hell, one site brags how they have close to 50,000 clients on their site. I have even seen a guys under age daughter photo and name placed on such a site. Many of these sites don't even screen the ladies or her claims.
Sad thing is a lady would have to be a fool to see clients without real information and a guy would have to be a fool to give it to them until he gets to know what she is like. Someone has to be the fool and take a very real risk as there is too many on both sides of the fence that are abusive and dangerous. No I do not have the answers as there is no telling who can be trusted with or without said info until it is too late.
Personally I am a fool and will give out personal information. It has cost me twice. Once when a lady and her phone got taken to the police department and she allowed them to see her contacts. This lead to my full outing. And the second lead to my wife's info being used to blackmail me into not reviewing. I have been burnt twice yet I still do it. I have to bee the biggest fool on TER. Someone must do something stupid in regards to their safety or else no one here would be doing any P4P.
I respect you position, and I even agree with it from your point of view. But don't claim, "It has nothing to do with 'holding something over him'" It has everything to do with that. Even if it is only for your safety.
If he is a decent human being he has nothing to worry about. Hurt me and I will use that info to the nth degree, just like anyone would in the civvie world if they were hurt by a stranger.
Ladies who use personal info for other reasons need to be taken out to the woodshed. They ruin it for everyone by being petty, conniving and at times assholes pure and simple.
Spot on about some hobbyists with scads of okays etc...the worst by far. Love my clients....
As I have said I feel I am a fool with sharing anything more then references and screening site info as I have been burned twice. Both had reviews, both had others say they are OK. I do not blame the one who got busted as they used her kid to get her to roll, but the other was a bit obsessed about her reviews to the point she threatened my wife to silence me. How would you suggest guys tell the ladies that only want to make sure things stay safe from the crazy ladies destroying lives because a guy dared be delayed because of traffic?

...their children work, etc...from memory (I do not keep records) and in four years of doing this, every friend will agree I have never compromised their information. I genuinely do not care about their details after the meeting has concluded even if I truly enjoy them as a friend. There are some lovely men out there! However, it would be a headache to keep records that could harm me in the event I was busted. In the grand scheme of things, that is information that I do not want hanging over my head. Quite often, I will pass through the neighborhoods of old friends I have visited (yes, the world is that small) and just smile about our crazy times together when their SO's were away. Other than that...there is a thing called having a real life (and not being consumed with this one) and boy does it feel good! 
All I do is start making phone calls and sending emails. I may not need to have "him" send me their information because it is right there for me to get it. If his reviews are questionable with random women who have no history, then yes I will need more information. If he has reviewed legit and reputable ladies that I know of, I will simply call them.

You have reviews. You must have references. You have whitelists. I assume you have p411 memberships as I believe you have shilled for them in the past. Why the obsession with screening questions?
