Emails from other providers

Apparently, an escort site, or someone with a database of emails for providers has been infected with the KLEZ virus and is spreading it to other escorts without our knowledge.  I ran a scan of my computer and low and behold, I had it.  I was wondering why I kept getting all these emails from providers with a weird subject line and no message.

Use this tool from Norton Symantec http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.removal.tool.html to see if you have the KLEZ virus.  If it is found, it will prompt you on how to remove it.

If anyone has gotten a weird email from me, I apologize.  Apparently this virus is a high level nuisance that effects your virus scanning software, so you have to run the tool and not just depend on your software to remove it.

Don't trust me?  Look it up on Norton's website.  I'm not one of those that emails "Warnings" to everyone, but this virus has apparently gotton into the escort community.  Guess you can get a virus without having sex........

GirlPointofView raises a really good point. If you get an E-mail discussing a possible virus file that should be deleted, always check on the Norton-Symantec site. I once deleted a system file based on a "hoax" E-mail, without first checking.
