FBI is heading to Iraq to investigate, they'll do a lot of field interviews. In order to keep them safe, they'll have bodyguards. Said bodyguards are supplied by - wait for it - Blackwater.

It's way too funny to be made up.....

So, Congress is passing a bill to bring people like Blackwater ops under US authority to criminally prosecute.  Why?

Do we really think the FBI is going to be able to successfully investigate?  Are we stretchign the FBI too thin?  Are we really going to be able to get Iraqi witnesses to the US?  This seems pretty pointless.

What do you think?  Smart, or just too difficult to enforce.

I'd be interested in the stats about the number of people successfully assassinated while under the protection of the different security organizations over there. I mean we should be told how well they're all doing, both good and bad, not just keep harping about one tragic incident.
