Good reviews of course. I was checking out a top providers site and she thanked all of her reviewers, but asked for no more reviews. So my questioned is for highly rated providers. Do you want more excellent reviews? If not, why?

Hey LuckyDevil,

Did this provider in question state WHY she didn't want any more reviews?

What was her rationale behind it?

There HAS to be a reason for her unusual request.

Hardly unusual! Quite common actually. I find it odd that someone who has been around as long as you would find this unusual! Many ladies don't want a lot of reviews, and the topic has been discussed on the boards many times. See Julia's answer below. There are various reasons. Many ladies don't want tons of reviews. Some are perfectly happy with anout 4 per year (1 per quarter) just to show they are still active.

Of course providers want more excellent reviews. That's like asking "Do you want more money for nothing?".

Let me be more clear. My experience was not from a provider wishing for no more reviews. That was from another top rated providers site I was checking out for another experience. The reason for my original question. TER gave me the knowledge to pursue this hobby. Yes, I am a newbie and respect all of the providers wishes, but I need to build my profile and references to make the screening process hassle free. That being said, going against a providers wishes a submitting a stellar review will that piss them off? It's not easy being the new guy! Thank you for all your advice! And yes, next time I will post on the newbie board.

As a companion who doesn't have many reviews,  can attribute that to typically meeting the kind of men that don't review. I've met men that have no interest in having an imprint as a hobbyist at all, but they are free to use me as a reference to see the ladies they choose. I can understand how hard that can be, as it's hard for me to get references from other ladies who claim to be. Your reviews are just a start, and is not the end-all be-all to the screening process. Well it shouldn't be anyway. If that's the case, you can just pick a popular hobbyist's name and tell a girl you're him.

The route you chose is your choice, but they're not necessarily a must-have for your either. As for your question, I would love a few recent reviews, now that I can get the scores I deserve. I look forward to them. Do I look forward to accumulating 20 in the next year? No.

All the best,
Tiff

If you see a well reviewed lady who doesn't want to be reviewed -  you can still ask if she will white list you.

You don't have to review her to be white listed by her and that will help you with your credibility when you see another TER provider.

If the lady wants a review she will let you know. Some will even ask you after an appointment to review them if you have the time. Posting reviews means little to your cred but helps other hobbyists and the community as a whole. If you are worried about your personal references, ask the lady if you can use her for a reference. That is more important in getting your name cleared when seeing someone new than how many total reviews you have on TER.

I only have two reviews on this site but have been in the hobby for quite some time and have plenty of active references to go off of. I have never had a problem setting up appointments with the only exception being some flakes here and there.

LuckyDevil,

While you may be a newbie, that kind of question is a general type of question that fits in this category. If it didn't TER would have moved this to the FAQ For Newbies forum.

If you see a provider that doesn't want anymore reviews, ask her if it's OK to give her a review to build up your profile and references. She may have other options that will benefit both parties.

Welcome and hope to see many of your contributions her at TER.
