Thanks for the link!  Just watched it with my friends, dogs, neighbor & BF in Tampa online.  Lots to digest, very moving...at least, for a highly sensitive person like me.

Nightline (ABC) did a story tonight about underage girls with pimps advertising on Backpage.
They of course were making it seem like it was all BP's fault...which we all know it isn't, but BP's attorney stood up & didn't take crap from the reporter.

Kudos to BP for standing up to Nightline and everyone who thinks they are to blame for pimps advertising underage girls.

way toooo late at night for this bird and this discussion..please someone come along and chime in but...

Take away BP and what's left?  All the small fries where it's going to be nearly impossible to actually bust the bad people who ARE trafficking and harming and etc...etc... the young, the underage, those w/o voices.  

BP has been willing to work with LE in the past, no?  Isn't that how all of this really bad stuff has been discovered?  (By that I mean the underage girls/boys etc...)

Shut them down and what's left?  Will that stop what's going on and has been going for years?  It certainly won't stop the people advertising OUT OF CHOICE from advertising elsewhere.  And it will drive the truly horrific activities even further underground and more difficult to be discovered.

I missed the show tonight as I was, ironically enough, doing a sexy photo shoot for my next website/ad update.

BP adult services  should be shut down  for posting underage ads!!  BP is nothing more than a procurer, of underage kids, hiding behind business suits!!! DISCUSTING!!  How does the lady lawyer sleep @ night??

Corruption is everywhere. Because Craiglist removed it's escort section, that made BackPage the primary source for these escorts. If BackPage removes its escort section, another website will appear. Don't these people get it? Prostitution is the oldest profession, there is no way to avoid it.

Underage proposition is not good, and the pimps should be blame for it. Some men such as myself use BackPage for legitimate girls, and avoid girls looking like 15 or so. Seriously, I do. So, what ever the case may be, there will always be another internet site.

The media and the local cops work hand in hand. Have you noticed that the national media jumps on the band wagon. If you mention underage runaways and black pimps? Ohhhhhhhh predator's are stealing these precious young white girls. Alas that all of the sex provider's are really 9yrs old till 17years old girls. Yes there is a problem with teenage runaways on the streets. Have you seen the kids in Hollywood,California and NYC on the streets? The big problem is their shit parents who verbally abuse,mentally abuse and physically abuse them. All of you fucker's stop having kids if you can not step up to the plate! A large majority of strippers,porn actresses,webcam chicks,escorts,call girls or brothel girls are over 21 years of age. I have never seen any under age girls working in legal brothels in Nevada nor agencies from the Yellow pages. Pimps are a regular nuisance and they all should be gassed in a genocide ...Pimps give this business a bad name in part because they are "child molester's and "con-artist who prey on weak females. When the public hears the word "hooker,"prostitute,"call girl and "escort. That word pimp always comes into play. Dear ABC,NBC,MSNBC,CNN,WGN,CBS,National Geographic get a grip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way the NYC madam only employed over 21 year old chicks and no pre-teens were exploited in her rise to fame!!
