Severe halitosis as you described is well beyond just bad breath.

It is a systemic condition that no amount of brushing, breath mints or gargling mouth wash will "cure".

He could have gingivitis a serious gum disease or a bacterial infection in his gastrointestinal system.

He could very well be at risk of a heart attack should the infection migrate to a major arterial artery.

Sounds like this wasn't just a case of too much garlic.

I recently saw a man (non TER member) and I would swear he kept farting...the smell wafting through the room REALLY smelled like shit...he is a man I choose not to kiss because he is a drinker and I don't like the taste of left over brandy....anyway, when we were parting ways I gave him a hug...as we pulled away from each other he said "I will see you soon"...this is when I realized that it was in fact his breath that smelled like farts...yeah, yeah ha ha ha...but I was like OMG WTF GROSS...so, for the love of PETE  brush those teeth...I love to make out...but if it smells like you're farting in my face....

Reminds me of a old dog I had. We got him when he was 8 years old and they old owners never took him to the vet. When we brought him home we swore he had shit in the room, turns out it was his breath.
His mouth was full of rotten teeth and they ended up pulling all of them over the next few years. Once the rotten teeth had been pulled the smell went away. ( we call him gumby after that )

Brushing wont get rid of the smell...  He has bigger issues going on if it smells that bad...

OMG! You poor girl, perhaps he didn't know how bad his breath was. Also, if he drinks as you say that may have quite a bit to do with it. Perhaps you could kindly suggest he freshen up a bit prior to getting too close? You could always feed him a bunch of strong dark chocolate mints and try to make it erotic while hoping it works. I am so sorry this happened to you.

If someone has bad breath it is caused by bacteria in the mouth .That bacteria can in fact transfer from him to you giving you that same bacteria in your mouth and guess what it is so difficult to kill it is scarey .
Talk to your dentist about this it is seriously hard to kill this stuff.
I had a client who was a dentist but he was in research he said if you smell it do not kiss it he can not help me kill it once I get it .Further complicating things , in most cases it will casue gum disease and eventual tooth loss.

Mom always said there are NO pretty girls with NO teeth .Good luck with him and maybe consider not seeing him anymore as he is a walking pertri dish .Good luck ,Kendall

Damn glad I gave that shit up almost 30 years ago (they say no booze improves the libido - but what would I know about that). :-)

I am so sorry you had to experience that. That is gross and would have made me nauseas.

I actually experienced that a year ago and politely asked the person, would you like to have some gum with me? I took a piece and gave him a piece so he didn't feel bad. At this juncture I see him all the time and I think he took the hint, because over time he has smelled fresh everytime we meet. I also sometimes leave gum packs and altoids placed around the room (in the bathroom, on the night stand, etc), so a client can just take a mint if he knows he may need it.

Have fun!

altoids are good for more than just fresh breath  perhaps I will offer this fella one the next time he comes over :-)   thanks for everyones input xo

You know what I cant stand a smoker and most know it If I know and smell it Im honest I always show every client to the bathroom and tell them to help themselves to my mouthwash ( i buy those little disposable cups and toothbrushes at the dollar store and tell them they can freshen up if they wish and put gum and  mints everywhere. Some clients with diabetes or gingivitis it is really gross at times. I told one client to please brush gargle and wash his hands he forgot to before he met me and was not at all offended. If its really bad and you know it when they get there you can tell them you are not feeling well or need to cancel and dont accept any money for it. If its not a comfort and you wont enjoy it dont do it! Angela

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! (he should almost get blacklisted on the provider only back channels for this.. lolol!)

anyways, I consider myself a good provider, i keep double mint, ice breakers, and a LARGE supply of personal mouthwash in the bathroom (courteously of the classier hotels- thanks) for situations like this.. haha. but this all may have melted to this guys- hellish- breath's touch. hahaha.
