Amendments thats what they are called..The origianl constitution has explanation for amendments.. The founding fathers knew they were not Gods so their Constitution would have amendments as needed. The amendment issue was clearly defined in the original constitution under ARTICLE V see article V below
Article V
The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

Actually it wasn't written in a night but over months .. They should have thought it out a little more but they were quite the uncivilzed lot back then..

Here is part of the ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION that any moron who thinks the Constitution is unbendable should read.....
Article IV

No person held to service or labor in one state, under the laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in consequence of any law or regulation therein, be discharged from such service or labor, but shall be delivered up on claim of the party to whom such service or labor may be due.

Now for anyone  too ignorant to realize what that means ...IT REFERS TO SLAVES... So the next time your ignorant self says that the Constitution should not be changed at all. I ask you... Are you a Supporter of Slavery??

it's just paper.  We don't need no steenkin' laws.

You been ghost-writing for the White House?  I'm sure you can get a recommendation.

Fucken unbelievable.  And people wonder why we're so fucked up.  Because clowns like you are running around loose, instead of filling the county psych ward.

Jacko do you realize how much the Constitution has changed since it was first written??? I find it odd that my eighth grade edumactation taught me reading comprehension skills light years ahead of your schools.

I will post specific talking points again  and please read slower without MTV blasting in your ears..

Oh and Jacko how about coming back with facts instaed of school yard screams

So Jacko instead of losing debates by calling other people clowns why don't you tell us why Article 1V should still be in the Constitution as written. I am scoffing at your ignorance and to think you spent so much money on edumacation for nothing..You are definitely due a refund..

Jacko I wanted to get down to your level and try to help you so I got this one out of the Constitution facts for kids..

A recent example of a change to the Constitution has to do with a woman’s right to vote. Women were not allowed to vote when the Constitution was adopted. Times had changed by 1920, and women gained the right to vote with the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment. The Constitution is flexible enough to adapt.

It applies to everybody except BUSH! What the HELL is wrong with that? Fuck yeah! Fuck those GODdamn LIBERALS! The Constitution don't apply to them anyway!!!

Bush is just like  Washington.  or maybe Lincoln, I forget which one.  Anyway, people will remember him like all the rest of those who have their heads in stone.  Why, his head is in stone already!!

Yeah is a great revolutionary President and father of His Country, and we are fighting a revolution against rebels, just like our own rebellion.  And of course the rebels will always succeed like us.  Or we will always succeed like the rebels.  What was it I just said?

Anyway, we know who you are.  Big time assholes.  Our enemies never stop thinking of ways to destroy America, and neither do we.

Until it IS amended it is LAW!!

If BushCo wants to add a new amendment or repeal an amendment then start with the legal process of doing so. Until such time GW and his cronies should be expected to do as the rest of us; OBEY THE LAW.

Really, I'm trying to tactfully inform you of this.  It's like you're starting a thread telling us that you've discovered this thing called gravity, when just today an apple fell from a tree and hit you in the head.

Your right, the constitution can be amended.  Is the thread over now?

Nope I reckon the thread isn't over. One thing for sure you lefties sure hate facts that millions of your party do not realize ... And for your information there are a lot of ignorants WHO DO NOT realize the Constitution has changed many times...Zinaval at least they vote with you unchecked. Are you happy about that?

Really, in a way, it's most of what they talk about.

If I try to go somewhere with it, will you accuse me of misreading you?  Mainly what your threads lack is a point.  You never say "since the Constitution has changed so many times . . ." or "I think the constitution has changed so many times that . . ."

After telling the class something they learned five grades ago, you don't say anything.  I can't understand what you're writing without a thesis.
