After reading Rubs post about her experience with TMAN and his post, I have some questions. What keeps these men in business? What information do the subscribers of these lists get that you can't get from TER or Phoenix411, eros, cityvibe, etc.? What's the story here?
There is a whole world of great providers in Phoenix for under $200 per hour. Dave's List has been around for over 6 years, and yes you pay $100 per year membership, but I probably save well over $1,000 a year through the contacts on his list.
The TMAN Post is something else. TMAN will admit he started the Post to support his hobby by giving reviews for free services from providers. There are a number of providers in town that will not see someone if they know they are from the POST. Also I know several providers that have told me they write their own reviews for the TMAN POST.
I know Dave and his list is great. The list is my major reference source. I don't know Tman but a lot of people seem to have heartburn with him. I do know someone that really likes Tman and she has never had an issue with him. Moe gets the post according to his previous posts and that is his reference source.
if you know someone is faking a review than its pretty rotten not to let everyone know. I would in a heartbeat irregardless of the source.
