Thats not a bad idea. Ive actually used CG twice before. But didnt use hobby phone for a while and lost that # when i went to get more minutes. So they needed re-verify me because i had new number. And they no longer use rs2k. I didnt want to deal with that all that. Maybe I'll look into them again and get re-verified.
And im definitely not a cheapskate. I was ready to setup 90 min appt with girl 1 in my story for $450Ok, so i gotta rant. Why are providers so unreliable??? I only see girls who have reviews and am always very polite and never ask explicit questions when communicating, whether it be email, text or phone. I wont name any girls by name, but had a real run of bad luck lately. I only hobby 4-5 times a yr or so, and live about an hr north of Mad and Milw. So I have to kind of plan ahead.
The first girl (we'll call her girl 1) I kind of had an issue with is well reviewed and posts ads on here. Well established and respected I would say. Well, it takes her at LEAST a day, usually 2-3 days to respond to a text or email. And I do not badger her with lots of emails or texts, I send one and wait for a response. About 2 months ago, I knew I had a day off coming up in like 2 wks and contacted her about that day. She didnt accept RS2k, so I used a provider reference. I know it may take a bit to hear from provider giving reference, so it may not be all her fault. But my day off came and went when I finally heard back from her saying my reference checked out and we're good to go. I said I would contact her when I get a chance to get away and to please save my info so she knows she verified me. I contacted her last week, asking about this Fri. She said she would love to see me, but needs to verify me first. Uggh! I fwd her our prev emails. She said ok, and would love to see me. (and of course there are a few days going by between these few emails and texts) I then asked if noon on Fri would work. Never heard back from her.
So I kinda saw this coming, and on Tues contacted a girl (girl 2) who i saw once before and asked if she might be avail Fri. at noon. She is also reviewed but a bit more UTR. She said yes and to contact her Fri morn. I thought ok, if girl 1 doesnt get back to me by Fri morn, I will contact girl 2. Sent girl 2 text in morn asking if we could meet at noon. Remember, I live about an hr north of Milw, so 10:30 came and hadnt heard from her, but thought she seemed real reliable when I saw her before. I had nothing going on so jumped in my car and started driving south. She responded at 11 and asked if I had no-call no-showed her last time. I said no, I wouldnt do that. She said ok, but couldnt be there til 1:00. I said ok 1:00 is fine. This meant I was gonna be WAY early as I was already about half way. Thought I would just sit in a store parking lot and wait. And of course, after I'm all the way down on southside, sitting in my car in a parking lot like a weirdo, she texts saying shes cancelling. Really??? Tried to scramble and make other arrangements unsuccessfully. It was a long ride home.
Since I'm on a roll here, I'll tell you about the other 2 disappointments I had fairly recently. A very well reviewed provider (girl 3) who visits Madison occasionally was coming to town. Always wanted to see her. Set something up with her a few days ahead of time, the day came and I tried contacting her before I left. No response. I again thought she seemed reliable cuz she has so many positive reviews, and was so nice on phone. And she mentioned she was switching hotels around that time and day, so thought she may be busy with that. So I start driving south, hoping to hear from her. Nothing. I text her asking whats up, thought we were all set up for that day and time. She responded the next day saying she was sick, but shes available today...thanks, but no thanks.
After girl 3 let me down, I was again left scrambling to arrange something since I was already down there. Checked the ads, and TER for girls with reviews. Called 4 or 5 of them. The last one I called actually answered. I couldnt believe it. She said she was avail and gave general area to head to. I drive to other side of town, get there and call. Go figure, she doesnt answer. Another long ride home.
Whoa, this turned out to be way longer than I thought it would be. And I hope this doesnt make me look nuts...
So fellow hobbyists, or providers, any advice? What am I doing wrong here
You didn't do anything wrong, except you should tell us who the girls were...
I may just say who they are. Dont plan on attempting to see any of them anyway. Key word there is attempting. I'll think about that...

Yes. Just go with an agency. You cannot go wrong there unless you're a cheapskate. I have problems enough with girls who were looking for reference info. I provided it, even white listed, yet not a response in return. Why should I waste my time then?
Agencies that are legit will not let you down and you won't be wasting money on gas or time.

I'm sorry this has happened to you, but that's probably all it is: just dumb luck.
Some folks say that certain types of providers are flakier than others, and that may sometimes be true, but I personally haven't found that to be the case.
Speaking only for myself, I can tell you that I respond to emails/texts more quickly during days when I'm available than on my off days. So if the ladies have schedules posted, you might want to try contacting them during days they're available.... that might at least get faster responses.

I feel for you, man, as I had a similar experience Tuesday afternoon. This was with a VERY well reviewed provider who I have seen several (more than 5, at least) times before. We had a firm time established well ahead of time and she called me about 45 minutes before to confirm. I called 2 minutes before our time - no answer. She texted me about 10 minutes later that she would be ready in 15 minutes and would call when I could come up. No call, so I called her about 15 minutes after I expected her call and she said there had been a power outage in her building, but power was back on now and she needed another 10 minutes to get ready. Nothing more from her even though I called and texted her a couple more times. I also live about an hour from the MKE metro area, so it was a LONG drive home.
I sent her a polite email the following morning telling her I hated to miss seeing her and hoped she was OK - still nothing! I absolutely DO home she is OK.
Thats a bummer man, i feel for you too. Her story sounds a little fishy. And she really wasted your time.
I know these girls have to deal with bad hobbyists who try to haggle on price and waste their time and stuff like that. But were not all like that. And they need to understand that our time is valuable too and some of us actually drive a good distance to see them. Only to have them screw us over, and not on the good way. I for one am pretty fed up with it.
Well, at least we know we are all not alone in being stood up. I tried twice to set up a time with a well reviewed provider, neither time leading anywhere. The second time I had contacted her two hours before. Everything was set for time and other details. We exchanged emails. She told me she would text me with the location 15 minutes before. Crickets. I texted her five minutes before and again at the appointed time. Nothing. An hour later I texted a polite email telling her that my time was valuable, too, and that I wouldn't think of doing that to her.
Wish TER had one more section where we could rate providers on this...even if we never got to the review stage.

There are things that happen which provider may have to cancel.... Can't reply or maybe they just don't have manners.... But
1st girl seems just busy.... Since she never responded back to you or maybe she doesn't have internet access all the time.. Lol
2nd girl did she give u a reason for canceling??
3rd girl sounds like she's fell with an illness so you have to forgive her..., sometimes auntie Flo isn't nice to us girls once a month-I know I've had to reschedule or cancel due to that Biatch.... Lol
The last ones... Idk what to tell you, you're using an alias so I can't see how u review so maybe it's the verification/screening that's the problem...
My advice, don't be frustrated cuz there are too many Pussy out there to be upset about these ones... Also don't blast them out on a board other then the hobbyist board or via privy message.. Screening & verification is very important to most well reviewed providers....
