Yes it is and they do it anyway....

A provider friend of mine informed me that San Diego LE is doing an outcall scam.
Seems a "provider" that advertised on the net showed up at some poor guys office, they talked then LE busted him.

Be carefull!!!!

I wasn't going to post about it, as I had no reasonable proof. But I have heard that clients are now being targeted by LE posting ads of false "providers" on various ad sites.

How do we determine if this is, in fact, happening--or if it's just another go-round of the all-to-common LE paranoia?

Has SD become the next OC? Or was their just another LE rumor started lately?

Could be another rumor.....

Guys - don't go with the provider that can only be found once on the net.  It's a lot of trouble to advertise on several sites and be consistant (not to mention expensive).  Maybe too much trouble for LE to go through. Especially since that "provider" can only net a few busts before they are found out.  Hopefully, the advertiser will take them down immediately.

My question is this:  DO you really have to talk about money and sex when the provider shows up?  When I show up, I know what's expected of me.  Kinda like being in high school.  The guy makes a move (or the girl) and it's either allowed or not. No words necessary.  Of course, I love that scenario anyways - making out like teenagers! Hmmmmmm....

I never look at or touch any money until I'm walking out the door.  I'm way too trusting in the fact that I don't even count it until I get home, but I know the guys appreciate that.  GOD, my third date I was so gullible that I took a check!  Of course the damn thing bounced!

People talk way too much on the first date.  I have had to tell guys before "WE CAN'T TALK ABOUT THAT!" over the phone or via email. It's a trust on your part that you will get what you want, but it's a huge trust on my part that you won't arrest me after I do it. After the first date, we'll talk about whatever you want!

I was just busted for being stupid...

LANI was the website, she posted on TER and BD.
I got busted at the Dolphin so be careful.

Later

(619) 980-0353 Lani - The Asian who works 7AM-4PM M-Th?

On Eros as well?

Popped at the Dolphin makes more sense. It's just a variation on the decoy & john patrols. They set-up adjoining rooms at a hotel and wire the "provider". We've seen it on "COPS" so many times (hey, did a camera man come busting in behind them? Maybe you ought to get residuals!)

Sorry to make light, I know it can't be cool for you. Just my sarcastic sense of humor.

Thanks for outing her - I'd suggest that TER post this as a review, but instead of RIPOFF ALERT, a new category... LE Alerts!

Go check out this gals message board.  Lot's of references to the dolphin.  Not to mention references to GFE and FS.
Almost looks like a bunch of cops sitting around making this shit up and putting it on the message board to lure in some poor dudes.
And yes, I believe SDPD should have received more than a 2% pay raise.  City council got 25%.

Glad I don't live in the city of SD.

Could her friend be a cop too?
Linked to to Naughtia from her site.

I only recognize one name on that message board - and that's JR Moon.....

An interesting question is-SDPD or SD County Sheriff?

What happens if it is SDPD and you call from outside the city? As a vice scam, it falls outside of their jurisdiction-they'd need warrants and all that crap.

I think the sheriff is getting into the act (doesn't surprise me, Kollender is up for reelction and he's a first class jerk).

This all smells of election politics to me. We need to out them when we find them.

I wasn't told where it happened, just that it did.
I would imagine that it's a joint task force sort of thing.
And, I agree with it being an election year, these guys start cracking down on "high visibility" crimes.
But, how visible can a guy talking to a gal in his office be?

Let's just hope the poor guy has a good attorney and thank goodness it wasn't us.

isn't that a lot of trouble for the misdemeanor charge they would be going for?

For the record, most felony arrests start out as a misdemeanor. Why do you think the cops are willing to go 100MPH just to catch a guy that changed lanes without signaling for it? I in no way, shape, or form condone the polices actions concerning busts on providers or hobbyists. I'm just doing my best to explain a small part as to why they do it.
Personall, I would like "BUSTED" to give us a heads-up as to what happened to him. What was said and so on. That may help us in the future. I'm curious as to what she was like on the phone. Was it her decision for the Dolphin?
I personally prefer incall providers, but I get the shakes when they say they are at a hotel. Just my piece.

Here is what happened....
I called her for information.  In hind site she was a little to detailed on the phone, but nothing too major.  I arranged for a visit the NEXT day like I should.  She suggested the dolphin.  She called back to confirm, and then I called with a room #.  Something felt wrong when she started talking.  It did not sound like the person on the phone, but who knows with phone connections.  Then I gave her money and she said she needed to take it to the car.  I thought I was going to get CASHED and DASHED so I said No.  She left her Purse and Shoes and that is when they came in.  I just got a citation, and I hope that they do not do more to me because of this post, but I wanted to warn people.  The people at the Dolphin seemed to have no knowledge because when I went to check out they asked me what was going on and also pumped me for information.  I feel STUPID being outwitted by a bunch of DUMB cops, but fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

Hope this helps

What was said. Did an actual solicitation take place? Think hard. If you "said nothing wrong, you may be on easy street. We can only hope.
Another hobbyists gave me some semi-good advice a month or two ago. He told to just go in the room, put the money on a dresser or nightstand and wait to see what happens. If the provider asks what you want, simply tell her, all that is offered or something similar. Don't get specific.
I did this the other week. While I got burned and didn't get FS service. I also didn't take a chance of setting myself up for a bust.
I evaded a bust a few years back by simply keeping my mouth shut. The provider kept asking me what I wanted? I told her that I wanted what we had talked about a few days earlier. I got a bad gut feeling, so I got up to check outside the door. Sure enough, there was a guy in a blue jacket with a Motorolla wired to his ear. The room was bugged.
Since I had said nothing to incriminate myself, there was nothing that they could do, except watch me put my boots on and walk away. She claimed that he was her driver.
personally, I prefer to stick with a well reviewed individual. It's safe. Good luck.

wow. it does seem like something's up. just watched the WB's special report on the 10'oclock news about prostitution disguised as massage, and how they need to crack down.  tomorrow they have a special report scheduled on local swing clubs.

Next up for sweeps week on the WB:

"....We were shocked, simply shocked to learn of the high rates of sexual activity that nightly occurs in bedrooms throughout San Diego. Exclusive, in depth report begins at 10:00...."

Like I mentioned in an earlier post go over your parameters for precaution. Obviously out-call is a risk, first time providers are a risk, etc., etc., etc…As in all things risk provides higher returns, but the percentage of success is greatly reduced and the chance for high loss can be very costly. So it all boils down to what are you willing to lose…………………………
