But this is easy call that he can't receive special treatment because his immoral sin is not big enough. Maybe I blame Clinton for it since he was screwing around back then.
In all honesty, let's officially welcome him to this hobby so we all can suffer the pussy power.

There's aren't too many ways I could criticize him.

Besides his wife, though, is there any reason to apologize to anyone?  He didn't go after minors; he didn't practice the flaming lifestyle while bashing gays in his political life.

As Palfrey's Attorney said, "I'm stunned that someone would be apologizing for this."

At any rate, I don't think there's any way Palfrey is going to beat the rap.

Next time a repub tries to shove their God, morals, and religion BS down my throat...I am just going to puke right back in their face.

This so called "party of god" is just as bad a bunch of hypocrits as the dem party is when it comes to environmental conservation, global warming!

Speaking of the environment, is anyone else just as sick as I am of msn / al gore trying to shove their live earth, global warming, environment BS down my throat too.

Does anyone in the "morals and values" crowd ever practice what they preach? Are they starting to realize that some of their beliefs are unrealistic and that no one really follows them.

maybe they do reflect the morals of the people after all.

They hobby, drink, are gay, etc.  Too bad they can't live in the open with their lifestyle w/o fear of legal recriminization.  Someone ahould change the laws.

The Media is very misleading so I don't blame it on you... Although the Moral Majority did help win the last two Presidential elections the fact is the Moral Majority part of the Republican base is actually rather small in REAL numbers. I would tend to call them the Moral "Minority" but they get big press.. I know hundreds if not thousands of Republicans but I know NOT ONE Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson type Republican..But then again I am just a non degree holding Cowboy.I do know lots of rich Republicans and Democrats that own big farms but none of them seem holier than though..

". . . the Moral Majority PART (emphasis mine) of the Republican BASE (emphasis mine) is actually rather small in REAL numbers."

I've heard this before, and I consider it to be an extraordinary claim, it requires some evidence, and scrutiny of the evidence.  Link please.

I consider your sample of Republicans you know to be biased.  Moreover, I think the influence of formal conservative Christians goes beyond their numbers.

Thing is, I really believe many times non-secular Republicans want to distance themselves from the Conservative Christians. So, they throw things like this out there.

Even so, when you're winning national elections by 2-3 percentage points and calling it a landslide, no part of your base is small.

Republicans are in trouble, as there's no doubt that conservative Christians won't be voting in the numbers Republicans had in the past. They're discouraged and demoralized-- ironic term, that.

Unlike Palfrey, he's not going to jail; he won't be arrested; he won't be booked.

She's right to complain.  He gets forgiven; there's no crime, just a sin; she goes to prison.

She's facing all the time these guys will never face.

Pussy power?  Maybe it's the power of money?

He won't get any time, but how is it that he shouldn't be arrested, like you're normal hobbyist would be.  It seems to me at least the equivalent of having the news cameras there with the vice squad.

by his number alone.

that's why I say, maybe you want the rules changed so that's not the case anymore....

Their philosophy there is that the shame of arrest alone is a punishment.

But that's not the point, I really don't care if Vitter gets arrested or not.  I'm just frustrated because I don't think there's any way Palfrey is going to beat the rap.  She has released these numbers in desperation.  I hope who is on it stimulates some kind of lasting debate on the hobby.

But as it is, I just hoped she could win, but I don't think she has a chance.

on her. she made shitloads of money women who did not want to break the law were not able to make. now she's whining the double standard card.

hogwash

if anything, this should be a wake up call to any GOP'ers here that even their so-called hobby buddies won't mind tossing them in front of John Law's bus.

From what I see so far, she's not breaking any laws I wouldn't break-- because I think they're bad laws.  Meanwhile they are hitting her with RICO-- a law made to go after mobsters.  As a lawbreaker on the matter myself, that seems excessive.  I hope she beats that one at least.

I don't see the amount of money she made as being relevant. She didn't steal from or defraud anyone.  She didn't endanger or kill anyone.  She didn't ruin anybody's life, to make money, as far as I could tell so far.

IFUK4DECADES2054 reads

so, what's your bitch with Bush?

he, if not breaks then cetainly bends to the full extent laws he needs to in order to protect 300 million people.

and you and the leftwing dingbats scream like your hair is on fire

seems hypocritcal to me....not that i'm above hypocracy...sometimes it's unaviodable.

He threatens and abridges rights.  My rights as well.

And he also doesn't stay within Constitutional bounds of the President, in fact, shows contempt for them, but he expects Congress to stay within bounds that only he limits.

That's why I don't like Bush and consider it to be a different subject.

Now, if you have such respect for laws, why do you hobby?  Or do you think that when you're caught saying "oops I made an error" is the proper approach?

i hobby because i can fuck hotter chicks than i otherwise would be able too, and more of them too! i'm a fat ugly motherf***er but like i said, it's my hypocracy

any time you pass a law, someones toes are gonna be stepped on. i have to the right to own a gun, you wanna regulate and inpinge on that...such is life...I think bush is trying to save lives and the screaming hair on fire crowd is over the top...

Not that I like him, but I think Bush has good intentions-- and that he is trying to save lives too.  I just don't think he's competent, and I think he takes the word of people who don't have good intentions.  Therefore, I think all his policies harm us.  I think he trusts the people surrounding him too much, and I don't think he's  qualified.  I think what has happened on his watch shows that he isn't qualified.

Am I supposed to be impressed by your point of view when you plead hypocrisy?  I have a simple point of view: prostitution shouldn't be illegal.  I had that point of view for years before I ever  hobbied.  I'll work to decriminalize it.

I have a problem when people do something willfully and repeatedly and then call it an "error" when they get caught.  That's not an error.  Vitter did exactly what he wanted to.  No error involved.

Since you call yourself a hypocrite now, are you going to call your hypocrisy an error later?

I've chosen my issue for civil disobedience. I'm not a criminal who disobeys all the ones he finds inconvenient.  If I'm caught, I'm not going to say "oops, I made a terrible error."

shes like oooo, im caught, maybe i'll ruin a few careers...oh, that did'nt work, well, how bout the double standard kinnard....hey bitch, how bout shut up and do your time?

and takes down a shitload of high powered hypocrites in the process.
Unfortunately the powers that be will not endure a blood bath like that from a commoner like her. The blood bath could end up as her in the crosshairs of a government paid assassin's sniper rifle.

f we can get the hobby legalized in Clark and Reno counties in Nevada, THE WHOLE WORLD WILL SEE THAT LEGAL IS BETTER THAN ILLEGAL.

Retired Judges, Cops, doctors and such are gonna have to step up to the plate and lead cause they got nothing to loose when they get whacked by by the the powers that be (I'M VERY PROUD OF MYSELF AS I JUST AVOIDED A PARTISAN RANT).

to identify politicians as the two faced, conniving, venal, mercenary, hypocrite, obfuscating, self serving, parasitic bastards they generally are.
