It is true that there are few places to advertise in the Hampton Roads region.

I use the Other Cities Ad Board and also, the Washington DC Ad Board because many people travel from DC to Hampton Roads for business.

And I 100% totally agree that Ave X is ridiculous on who it "allows" to be part of their site.

Are there any regional boards for VA or Hampton Roads? I was a provider in the area about 5 years ago and I recall several boards that were used for local connections amongst providers and hobbyists. I'm not looking for Ave X. I will pass on that website as the moderators are quite biased against anyone who provides a good service and prefers NO drama.

Any suggestions are welcome!!

petition? Hubs offered to write a very compelling letter for me on this topic to AT LEAST get VA on the map.

We'd all (VA folks) have to send it to the same people.

It's ludicrous that we have to go to Other Cities when we are such a large population..

....you can also crossover with the DC board here. There is another southern leaning board (not the one that starts with an E) but you'll have to email me about it ([email protected])

There are North Carolina gents that are closer to Hampton Roads, than they are to any major city in North Carolina. I for one would be in favor of a VA board.
