C'mon, I know you're out there. There must be someone who would like to be the local mod. E-mail [email protected] if you're that person. 
What does it entail to be the mod for this or any other board? I see you say it involves checking the posts twice a day for naughty children, LOL Or just the over zealous , come on someone take it up.
It would probably be more fun with someone the lead the way.

The mod checks what's going on and approves messages (new posters, and, as you say, naughty children and overzealous participants must have their messages approved before they are posted). The more often the mod can do this, the better. Twice a day is the minimum, but I think that three times a day is much better. The busiest times are usually lunchtime and after dinner till around 11pm.
