This is not just a forum, but a business.  The guy who owns it can make whatever rules he wants and they are what they are.

One of the things that makes this site so great is the careful screening regarding the review process so that the reviews can be as relied upon as possible.  If someone was able to post links to other, more unreliable review sites, then the process would not only be circumvented, but degraded as well.  Links to those sites on TER would imply that TER supports the accuracy of the reviews on those sites, which is just not the case.

Start your own site and make your own rules if you want, I'll stick with TER.

Good luck

Is that a rival site to this one or something?  Its weird; all the girls who I've seen on there have zero reviews here, so I'm wondering if its a Craigslist type site?

And it seems to link up to something called Troothsayerz.  How many of these type sites are there?

Finally, am I allowed to ask about rival companies?  Or are the moderators and readers of this giving me the evil eye?

Please, no flaming.

Troothsayerz, a CA based advertising and review site.  It seems that with humaniplex they have added more discussion, blogs, and networking features.  I know there are gals posting there who are reviewed on TER, try searching by phone number.

There are many such sites across the country, and yes, you're right:  these are TER's competitors, and you need to tread lightly when mentioning them on the boards!  An honest question about the marketplace is OK.  A question on a regional board like "I saw Lady X listed on Site Y, anyone here know her?" should also be OK.  Even a question like "where can I find good info on Place Z?" is also OK, particularly if TER's presence there isn't that strong.  For example, nearly every board has had a hobbyists asking where to find info before they travel to Europe - references to captain69 is the usual reply.

What you CAN NOT do is post a link to these sites!!!  Also, you can not use a profile, or ad, on a rival site, as a providers ad site, or personal site when posting a review.

Jazz32 is the moderator of this board and has a duty to inform you of the rules.  I think his reply was informative and gave you the answer you were looking for.

Don't take things here personally, and don't be hyper sensitive.

Good luck

Jazz is just giving you the facts about the rules.

A word of advice, if you are going to take offense to everything someone tells you, you are not going to enjoy your time here. Lighten up!!!

Maybe you'll understand if put this way. Would FORD allow links to GM on a FORD website?
