Some are just higher than others!  I won't be seeing any $2000 appointments but I can afford to hobby about twice a month for two hours at a time with my very reasonably priced $300 an hour ATF. It is quite possible to find quality ladies in the $250 to $300 price range and nothing says you have to do it every week or even every month.

Save the duo sessions for very special occasians, hopefully your pension can handle 1 or 2 1 hr monthly sessions. Thats what I tend to shoot for. Enjoy!

I used to roll in the dough, but after divorce and business problems I'm more careful about how I fling around my money.

So I've found that chuck steak is just as tasty as filet mignon if you prepare it right, and I shut the lights off in any room I'm not in, I've found it's rewarding to feel a nice breeze from the window in the summer instead of refrigerating the house.  I could go on, but you get the idea.

The bottom line is that I raise the dough I need to entertain myself and I enjoy it all the more.

Plus I reduce my carbon footprint.  It's a true win-win.

Like Mr. Fisher said, prioritize. There are frivolous purchases I've taken to skipping, where I used to indulge. For those that aren't independently wealthy, it is like saving up for anything. Discipline and perseverance.

You also have to establish reasonable expectations. Perhaps weekly hobbying isn't in your reality, no matter how hard you save. I know it isn't in mine. So be it. Learn to savor anticipation. Do your best to make an encounter worthwhile and special. Do your research and wait for who and what you really want, rather than being distracted by every ad posted in your local board.

This consumer advice coming from a guy who checks the unit price on items in the grocery store and would pick up change if I walked by it. Even on a luxury expense, which this sure is, it pays to be smart. Your little head will be happy with the results if you keep your big head in charge of shopping.

Although I'm a newbie myself, I can clearly see some of the potential roads to hobbying disaster. With all the other risks that can only be mitigated, but not eliminated, overspending your budget is an easily controllable issue. Instead of looking hobbying as a key part of everyday life, look at it like a vacation from everyday life. I don't take vacations all the time, but I plan and enjoy them now and then.

Like every other hobby, luxury or extravagance you must control and budget it to what is comfortable and prudent for your income.

 The most expensive golf clubs won't make you another Tiger Wood, and setting a budget doesn't make you any less of a hobbyist.

First of all, read everything here with a grain of salt.  Yeah, some guys can afford high-end providers regularly.  Most cannot.  

I don't have a lot of extra cash in this particular chapter of my life so I do a LOT of shopping and reading before I see a lady.  If I don't think I will have a memorable experience then I'm passing and continuing to look.  We all have some things that we key in on when reading the lady's reviews.  

There may come a time when you see an exceptional provider and say 'fuck it! I'm going for it!'  The once-in-a-lifetime drop-dead gorgeous, give you a reason to smile when you are in the home and for 30 min after they slam the box closed, GORGEOUS woman that (lets face it) we are not going to get for free anymore - if we ever were going to get something that fine for free.  Been there, done that (x3) with a real former Vegas showgirl.  I'll never regret it.

You may not be able to hobby on a regular basis, but a special event could be manageable.

I'm on a budget as well, so I have to save for it. I have been able to do one 2-hr appointment per month, but right now I have some other expenses I have to deal with so the hobby has to wait. I may have to take a 3 or 4 month break from it, or longer.

I stash a bit each week from my pocket money...  I take it out each week whether I spend it or not.  I usually have enough for one a month with a reasonably priced lady.  I have several Favs that do very nicely.

Do your research. It's amazing what you can find posted on your local board, ladies run specials from time to time. I'm in a city where $300 to $400 is norm for a well reviewed provider. However, I've found some great ladies at much lower hourly rates. Don't assume someone who charges twice as much is twice as good.  Providers have numerous reasons for coming up with their rates. Just remember to think with your big head not your little one.

There are plenty of wonderful ladies available for much less, as another poster said above, for 250-300 you can find a provider of just about every description, includig some very wonderful ones;  I only go above 300 for multi-hour sessions with my ATF, and she is not local to me, so that's only every 2-3 months when I get the chance to be in her town for business.  Otherwise, you just have to learn to live within a budget, and if an expensive session is in the near future, go without (or just stick to the less expensive FBSM providers ($150-200)) between GFE sessions.  yes, its hard, but you have to leard to keep within a budget.

I only hobby when I'm travelling, so it's not a set "so many per month". I sometimes go 2-3 months without seeing any ladies. I put aside a little money at a time, so if an unexpected trip does come up, I'm prepared. By planning ahead, I can afford some 2-3 hour dates when the opportunity is there. I have a trip coming up in October, and I've saved enough for two dates with a couple of ladies I've wanted to meet for a long time. Actually, one I've already met at a M&G, and the other, I've been flirting with for months.

I'm new to this forum and I'm amazed at the amount of money most are paying for the service. Now, every once in awhile I will pay the big bucks for the best; however, I have found that using Craigslist with a lot of research has had its rewards and saved my resources.

Look at some these ladies like diamonds in the rough.

After seeing two providers with a ten month period between sessions, I think that the only way for me to hobby on a regular basis is to budget and give up lesser luxuries, as other posters have stated.

The ladies that I am calling are $250 to $300 an hour with excellent service. I think that I can manage two one hour sessions a month. This will make it a special occasion and an experience to cherish, hopefully.  Anticipation of the next session makes it all the more exciting.
