When you first call a provider to set up an appointment, she will give you directions to, for example, get off the Interstate exit ###, then call again for final directions. It's an extra level of security for her, so you won't show up unexpectedly before the scheduled appointment time.

I had a provider say she uses the "two call system". What is that and how does it protect her and/or me?

There is a newbie manual at the top of this board. It's a worthwhile read for those just getting started. Also you can do a search of any term that you don't understand. The search feature is also at the top.

2 call is for her protection & is just about standard.  Do not call from a hotel lobby.  Call from your car in the parking lot.  A hobby phone is very useful to avoid leaving tracks.

Often times, the lady can observe the call point, to be sure you're alone.  In any event, its good to call so she'll be ready to let you in.
