I just got an email from a potential client who says that he has never been to a provider before. He states these things in his email:

1.he has a place for me to service him
2.He will leave the money out for me on the table
3.He won't mention sex for money
4.He is not a cop
5.He will allow me to search his place for videocameras

I responded back asking him not to:
1.mention TER on the date
2.not mention the money
3.not tell me I can search the place, I will scan the place with my eyes but I want to act like I am an old friend coming to his place for a quickie so he doesn't need to bring up conversation about cops

-------

what do you providers do when someone mentions this on a date,

do you take part of the money for your time

or

leave all the money

or

take the money and spend an hour with him asking him why he is talking to you like that in a disrespectful way

--------

what does TER do?
Has a cop ever been allowed to post a rip-off review if a provider leaves the session after saying all these things?
I worry about my legal protection but I also worry about being considered a rip-off too

Run away. Your prior correspondence and your presence at his location = explicit agreement to engage in an act of prostitution. If he/she/they are law enforcement, you = toast.

I'm not a provider but I wouldn't go

He's already broken rule #3 by mentioning that he will leave "your" money on the table.  That implies sex for money.  As for item #4, it means nothing.  A cop can have sex with you after saying "I'm not a cop" then bust you.  And #5, do you really think that you can spot microcams if they choose to employ them?

I would turn this one down, if I were you.  The vibes aren't right IMHO.

Your website seems to have pretty specific instructions for new clients - requiring that you go on a real date with them first - so I'm not sure why you are considering seeing this guy unless you need the cash. If that's the case then you are guilty of what we guys refer to as thinking with your little head. Don't compromise your security because in the end it will cost you far more than passing up this guys cash will.

thanks guys

haven't worked in a week due to family coming down

inherited the family home and redone the entire house so my siblings had to see it and I don't need them raising eyebrows of me rushing out the house for dates

I agree with all of the sentiment that you shouldn't go (or should not have gone, as the case may be).  Be careful, though, receiving legal advice from lay people.  The previous poster who suggested this was entrapment mis-spoke, I believe.  What he meant to say was that he thought the situation was a trap.  Entrapment, as used in the legal sense, is a term of art describing very narrow circumstances under which a person charged with a crime can use cetain conduct by law enforcement as a defense to the crime charged.

If the situation were entrapment, you'd have a defense.  It's not entrapment, though, it's just a trap.  Avoid the situation, and be careful taking what is essentially legal advice from members of the general public via the message boards.

After visiting your website, I can see how you might elcit these types of responses, especially from a first time hobbiest.
I would strongly recommend against taking his money, then providing no service. If you do, then you are indeed ripping him off. I am not advocating staying in a situation that makes you uncomfortable, your safety comes first. If you feel uneasy with someone, by all means, get out of there. But if you take his money, I would consider that a rip-off.

Something about your website, and your posts lend me to believe this is not an uncommon occurence for you. You seem to have a knack for creating drama, where drama does not exist. Most providers have a two call system, your two date system seems a little over the top. BTW It won't protect you either, sex for pay, is sex for pay, first date or twentieth date it doesn't matter in the eyes of the law.
