Reading these boards is the way to learn. Read, read, and read some more, and soon all your questions will be answered (and probably several you didnt even know to ask).

Then feel free to ask questions, its why this newbie board is here and many of us are happy to share our opinions and experiences. Also, check out your regional board when you're ready for more area-specific information.

Dixie Whip, welcome to the world of hobbying, breathing is a good idea...here are a few more.

First, might I suggest you get your VIP membership so you can read the full details of reviews and send/receive Private Messages (PMs) to/from other VIP hobbyists.  You also have more search options and get more info about the ladies with VIP.

Second, Do your research.  Find a lady you think you will like, check to see if she has TER reviews, if she does, check them and make sure she offers the services you are looking for. You may also want to post on your local board asking for endorsements or warnings about her.

Third, Listen to what the reviews and local "experts" have to say.  If she is bad most of the time, chances are she will be bad with you...you are not that lucky!...lol

Fourth, join a verification site like Date-Check.com or preferred411.com if you think verification is going to be a problem, and also to find more ladies who are at least verified as providers.

Fifth, make contact and have fun.

Other Pointers...
Until You develop a Spidey Sense...See only reviewed ladies...No Matter How Hot The Eros or CL Ad photos Are...DO NOT TOFTT until you are ready!

Stay Away from CL until you can weed out the trash and ripoffs and even then, use CL as a Last Resort...like a fat chick at closing time.

And Remember: Think with the Big Head and The Little Head will get Fucked.  Think with the Little Head, and You Will Get Fucked!

When I first found this site, I took the time to read back at least three months on my regional board and the Newbie board.  Of course you don't have to go back that far, but you may find that almost all of the questions that you may have have been covered in that time.

The Newbie Manual is fantastic, and reading all of the TER info and policies help too.

Ask away on this board also, but just be cautioned that, unfortunately, newbie type questions may get less kind responses on the other boards.  

As terrev said, get your VIP, either with reviews or paying for it.

Hello Dixie_whip, I'm a transplanted southern man living outside of Boston for now.  I take my name from the Little Feat Song, Dixie Chicken, about the hobby:

be sure to identify yourself as a provider since your name does not denote gender.

Many posters here are men...including Dixie Chicken.

Once you get reviews, you can have your reviews linked to your profile and people will be able to see you are a provider by the [See my TER reviews] after your name.  Names with numbers of reviews after them [terrev has 56 reviews] are men for the most part.
